RESPONSIBILITIES

The ideal candidate will be:

• Responsible for demand planning and ordering to ensure optimal inventory level in our distribution centres and warehouses.
• Required to work together as a team of inventory planners to achieve Service Level and Costing KPI and solving operational issues.
• Required to liaise with buyers, suppliers, warehouses and various other stakeholders, including coordinating the delivery with suppliers and distribution centres .
• Handling all matters relating to inventory - such as clearance of short shelf life and aging stocks, rectify stocks issues, process allocation to stores, compile inventory-related reports as well as advise on any inventory-related enquiries (out of stock queries, offer stock, etc.).
• Managing the stock allocation to all our stores format.
• Involved in projects and contribute to the organization with continual process improvements.

• Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain or related disciplines
• Preferably 2 years of relevant experience in Inventory Planning and Ordering
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Other Ms Office Applications
• Knowledge of SAP systems will be an added advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player and ability to collaborative and work effectively with a variety of stakeholders etc.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Job Responsibilities include:

• Keeping abreast of regulatory developments and assisting to assess impact on the business, including providing advice, interpretation, and recommendation. Work with Group Compliance on compliance matters and initiatives.
• Providing operational advisories to the business unit; assist business units in operationalizing Compliance Policies & Guidelines / Regulatory Requirements.
• Assisting to develop sales assurance controls and coordinating implementation by the respective business/support functions.
• Performing periodic assessment & assurance reviews on key activities undertaken by the Business to ensure compliance/adherence with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Report findings, recommending corrective actions and preparing trend analysis as needed for management review.
• Validating new regulatory controls before the effective date of the new/revised requirements
• Conducting compliance training to the sales platform on FAA related sales
• Co-ordinating external and internal audits (Regulator/External & Internal Auditors/ Group Compliance) of Retail Business as based on thematic coverage.
• Undertaking ad hoc projects related to business / regulatory controls

Job Requirements:

• Recognized degree in Business, Finance, Accountancy or Law
• At least 3 years of related working experience in a Retail Bank environment, preferably in the areas of business compliance and regulatory audit
• Prior experience in operational risk management within business units or internal / external audit is welcome
• Good understanding of the regulations applicable to Retail Banking would be an advantage (e.g. Banking Act, Financial Adviser Act, Securities and Futures Act)
• Candidates who have a strong regulatory background, compliance audit background or are currently in a business support role in the Retail Loan or Personal Wealth Management areas (e.g. secured or unsecured loan/ insurance/ investment sales) would also be considered
• Good presentation and data analytics skills
• Creative, resourceful, meticulous, analytical, and able to work independently with good excel and report writing skills
• Self-driven and a team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of training materials and content based on participant feedback and emerging educational trends.

· Maintain precise records of participant attendance, progress, and performance.

· Compile and submit requisite reports and documentation promptly.

· Stay updated on adult education methodologies, techniques, and best practices.

· Participate in training and development opportunities to refine teaching skills continually.

· Conduct sales and marketing activities as necessary to promote courses.

· Assist in managing course registration using the company's Training Management System.

· Ensure the classroom environment is conducive before the commencement of each session.

· Collaborate closely with the Training Manager on training and development initiatives.

· Undertake any additional ad-hoc tasks related to training and development as directed by the Training Manager.

Qualifications

· 1-2 years of relevant work experience (Preference for experience in a Registered Training Provider environment).

· Possession of ACTA/ ACLP qualification.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

· Highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and sense of responsibility.

· Outstanding organizational skills.

· Resilient with a positive mindset and a solution-focused approach.

· Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Working Location: Orchard
Working hours: Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 6pm & Friday : 8.30am - 5.30pm

Contract duration: 4 months

Salary: up to $3800

Responsibilities

• Managing the Community Volunteer (CV) programme and other ad-hoc duties
• Recruit, screen and interview volunteers
• Coordinate the training sessions
• Assist to handle enquiries from volunteers/stakeholders or feedback from members of public
• Plan and organise meetings/consultations
• Draft reports and take minutes during meetings
• Monitor the progress of initiatives that were implemented
• Assist in updating the database and other administrative work
• Assist in records management and any other duties assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelors
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, where a strong knowledge of Excel is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication skills
• A resourceful and self-motivated individual, who is able to work well independently
• Meticulous with an eye for detail
