Voice Engineer
Responsibilities:
· VOIP Domain Knowledge : Strong knowledge and experience in VOIP Protocols : SIP, H.323, RTP, RTCP, SRTP, TDM, MGCP
· Trouble-shooting Skills : Hands on debugging experience of GDB, call analysis through Wire Shark
· Develop, maintain and document the installation and configuration procedures.
· Contribute to and maintain system standards.
· To provide the end to end application support and maintenance to our existing customers.
· Coordinate with team, documentation, implementation, training and support
· Prepare, update and deliver regular project status update
Job Requirement:
- Degree in Information Technology IT/Telecommunication/Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of IVR and Contact Center technology
- Experience using and leveraging APIs
- Proficient in one or more development or scripting languages, such as Lua, with experience in software development.
- Strong knowledge of FreeSWITCH will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of networking concepts like Firewall Configuration, Switch Configuration, LAN Troubleshooting, Network Tracing, WAN etc.
- Experience in managing SBC and Media Gateway will an advantage.
- Knowledge of VOIP, installation, customization and development.
- Strong knowledge in IP Telephony & VoIP System (TCP, UDP, RTP etc) will be an
- advantage.
Essential Skills-
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and high level of aptitude.
- IT Support experience will be an advantage.
- Independent, passionate, resourceful and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Able to start work immediately or with short notice.
