The Job

1. Responsible for assembly, debug and test run of customized modular machines and it’s commissioning.

2. Provide on-site technical support at customer premise for equipment operation.

3. Perform design modifications through: Simplified design, reduced parts, using cheaper alternatives, while maintaining or enhancing the performance of products in terms of cost reduction.

Responsibilities:

• Review, plan, manage and improve cost effective preventive/predictive maintenance programs for facilities system, ensuring good system reliability and optimum efficiency
• Support to develop AOP and manage expenses according to AOP
• Respond to feedback/issues and perform troubleshooting to restore/ resume the operation back to normal
• Perform root cause analysis and implement action plans to prevent recurrence
• Review and evaluate system capacity and performance to recommend/ implement continuous improvement plans
• Perform analysis of utilities consumption for early detection of anomalies and collaborate with Sustainability Team/Operation for Sustainability Initiatives/Projects to reduce the consumption
• Review, maintain and update procedures/specification in Global Documentation Management System
• Maintain proper records of maintenance, drawings, plant histories, and other auditable documentations
• Review and manage inventories of appropriate spares, consumables, and other resources necessary for the day-to-day operation
• Support planning, design, and management of expansion/ upgrading/ improvement projects
• Support audits (i.e. ISO, IATF, RBA, VDA, EAL6, Customers, etc) and ensure its compliance
• Ensure compliance of authorities’ requirements, legislations, codes of practice, etc
• Provide guidance to duty staffs and knowledge sharing with fellow colleagues to continue strengthen the operation

Requirement:

• Degree in Engineering or related field
• Preferable 3 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing industry
• ACMV, DI Water, CDA, Vacuum, WWTP, Electrical System experience would be an advantage
• Computer skills in MS Office i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Certified Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) will be an added advantage
• Team player and able to work well in a team setting to achieve goals

Software Engineer (Java)

• Working Location: Central
• Working Hours: Office working hours / Hybrid working arrangement
• Salary Package: Up to $7,200 + AWS + Variable Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain business applications and systems integrations required for the operation
• Ensure best practices are used throughout the software development life cycle
• Actively participate in all aspects of the software development process
• Collaborate with other software engineers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain business applications built
• Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code
• Deploy systems to production and provide post-implementation support
• Analyze and resolve technical and application problems
• Provide maintenance support to customers by investigating and rectifying reported systems shortcomings during/after working hours when necessary
• Understand the inter-dependencies of the services (application, system and database) and able to pin-point problem areas accurately to improve overall efficiency

Key Qualifications:

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Java and related technologies.
• Web Development: Experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and Ajax for front-end development.
• Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with Spring Framework, including security, MVC, and cloud integration.
• API Design: Understanding of RESTful API architecture and SOAP, Web Services.
• Database: Knowledge of SQL and databases, including Oracle, MySQL, and PL/SQL.
• Messaging Technologies: Exposure to messaging technologies like RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or JMS is a plus.
• Testing: Experience with unit testing tools such as JUnit and Spring Test.
• Version Control and CI/CD: Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Jira.

Good to have:

• Cloud solution delivery experience.
• MySQL proficiency.
• Kubernetes knowledge.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, Elasticsearch.
• Amazon Cloud Services exposure.
• Front-end skills in Bootstrap and ReactJS.
