Common Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accountable for budget and policy recommendations
- Direct a variety of human resources related programs to ensure that the organizations current and future human resource requirements are met and that employees are recruited, managed, organized, trained, evaluated, and rewarded in accordance with organizations human resource strategy.
- These programs may include recruitment, training and development, compensation/remuneration, benefits, performance evaluation, organizational development, relocation, equal employment/affirmative action, health, safety and employee wellness, payroll, employee communications and employment/industrial/labour relations.
Key Activities:
- Liaise with functional or operational area managers to develop and implement local human resource strategies that are appropriate for their business needs, but consistent with the organizations overall human resource strategy.
- Evaluate the organizations future workforce needs in order to recommend changes to the organizations human resource programs to meet these needs.
- Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of human resource professionals to ensure that the organizations human resource strategy is implemented effectively and within established budgets and that the organization complies with all relevant regulations, laws and employment standards.
- Experience in recruitment management. In addition to the day-to-day managerial function, the role will incorporate strategic and policy development aspects that will have medium term consequences on the operation of the function and perhaps impact elements of organization performance.
- Establish and maintain the human resource planning, control and reporting activities.
- Responsible for the activities related to the process of payroll, aiming at guaranteeing the correct payment of employee within company parameters and according to current legislation.
Requirements:
- At least 7 10 years of HR related experience (Manufacturing industry is a plus)
- Relevant University Degree
- Good interpersonal and communications skills
