The Sous Chef supports the Chef de Cuisine as the culinary ambassador of the restaurant, leading the venue additional personality and soul. Food Quality

The role of Distillery Production Manager is a hands on role with managerial responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities: As the Distillery Production Manager you will:

Oversee all aspects of Production Operations including;

• Managing Production of all Tanglin Products
• Manage strategic forecasting of production to ensure all products are available to meet local and export orders
• Work with the sales team to ensure order fulfilment in a timely manner
• Ensure all raw materials (botanicals, ethanol, bottles, labels etc) are in stock to meet production requirements
• Implement just in time stock management where suitable
• Lead optimisation of production and implement strategic Inventory Planning
• Work with the Financial Director to manage lead times and payments for all inventory management
• Work with the General Manager and Founders to manage the Customs Process’s
• Manage staffing requirements within the Distillery including full and part time team members
• Product Development – work with the team to develop new products, limited releases, white label projects
• Event & Industry Representation – Attend Industry Events to represent Tanglin
• Team Building – Managing recruitment, HR and Team Development as the production team needs to grow
• Regulatory Compliance – Implement and enforce a cleaning process both inside and outside the distillery
• Equipment and Machinery – Understand the equipment we use, ensure all equipment is clean and working in an optimal manner. Manage maintenance, parts with our suppliers.

Reporting to the Senior Production Supervisor, the role of Production Supervisor would need to perform the following. 

General Function

• Immediate supervisor of all the production workers in the plant.
• To supervise, motivate, train new employees, maintain discipline, control manpower deployment, reduces overtime, maintains good working relationship with subordinates and to study ways to improve the section to increase high output and quality standard.
• To ensure workers carry out/follow up on instructions given

Responsibilities
 

PRODUCTION PLANT

• Record daily attendance and report to immediate supervisor of medical leave, absence, lateness, annual leave taken by the workers.
• Submit monthly attendance incentive/overtime to immediate supervisor for approval.
• Informed of unusual happenings major or minor incidents, accidents, hazardous situations or any other problems to immediate supervisor.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

RAW MATERIALS

• Achieve the daily production schedule set target and ensure the appropriate stock of manufactured products for division are maintained.
• Ensure the procurement of raw materials and packing materials is sufficient to meet the requirement of the section.
• Responsible for production process control for the division.  Co-ordinate for product trouble shooting in plant, monitor change of mixing instruction procedures for product, if necessary.
• Responsible for monitoring the stock level of all materials and packing materials are properly identified, marked and stored.
• Ensure that the mixing instruction procedure materials as specified on the B.O.M. are strictly followed, correct use of machinery and equipment by operators must be supervised.
• Ensure that raw materials used by operators follow the B.O.M production sheet.  Any discrepancy must be rectified immediately.
• Ensure that raw materials stock is updated and an accurate physical count if and discrepancy is spotted.  Conduct physical count on all materials twice a year.

MACHINE MAINTENANCE

• Responsible for the maintenance of all the machineries and equipment in the plant are clean at serviceable condition.  Keep a record of all break-down and report of machinery malfunction.

SAFETY

• Ensure the plant is kept clean as good housekeeping should always be practised.
• Factory equipment, light, fans etc are switched off and all mixing vessels are emptied or valves secured, bungs intact before factory are left unattended.
• Responsible for training workers on handling chemical spillage and emergency response activities.  All new workers are to be familiarized with all aspects of safety, according to the new employee induction procedure checklist.  Upon completion of the induction, the immediate supervisor and the new employee must sign the form.
• Ensure that workers are instructed and follow the procedures as prescribed for hazardous-chemical handling
• To ensure that workers, visitors and contractors wear appropriate safety protection equipment within the factory premises.
• To ensure first aid kit is well maintained and replenished when necessary.
• To ensure that fire extinguisher, spill/chemicals and other safety equipment are well maintained and replenish when necessary
• Forms a part of safety committee.
• Ensure that workers are following safety procedures, rules and regulation. Report all incident and accident.
• Ensure all workers are adequately trained in the safe and correct use of machine and equipment in the plant.
• To submit the following reports to immediate supervisor:
  • Monthly production output
  • Overtime report including reason for working overtime
• Accurate compilation of workers’ time sheet

Job Description
• Operation of the machines and process to ensure non-stop operation of the production line. Including regular input of raw materials to the fully automated line.
• Normal operation and monitoring of the machines to ensure that the output is of the required quality and quantity as well as to perform troubleshooting and repair whenever there is machine down so as to ensure minimum machine downtime is incurred.
• To perform target change, head calibration and to ensure proper procedure is carried out. For any major trouble, a written report is to be submitted to the supervisor regarding the nature of that trouble.
• Sample taking, measurement and writing of control charts/ checklists. To perform the conditioning of the machines if the measurement shows irregular trend and out-of specs occur.
• Carry out 5S and machine cleaning regularly to keep a high level of cleanroom cleanliness.
• Any other jobs as required by the production supervisor

• Minimum NITEC in any discipline or equivalent
• Possess knowledge in maintenance and repair of machines.

Job Description:

1. In charge of the preparation of reagents, calibration materials, and quality control products, strictly follow SOP, keep all records in the receipt, review, and use of raw and supplementary materials, monitor the stock condition and work with procurement team to replenish accordingly.

You'll be assigned to the account servicing team. You’re driven to learn and understand the job function of the client servicing team include performing fairly menial tasks which are part of client servicing scope. Expectations of an Account Servicing Intern

• Responsible for administrative tasks including but not limiting to billing invoices, preparing cost estimates, quotation, writing minutes, deck beautifications etc.
