Responsibilities

• Oversee RFQ processes, encompassing negotiation and assessment of supplier quotes.
• Proactively seek and assess potential new suppliers or alternative product sources.
• Analyze and formulate strategies for designated projects, focusing on cost savings, risk management, and process enhancements.
• Cultivate and sustain supplier/customer relationships to ensure reliable delivery and value generation.
• Evaluate and track suppliers' performance regularly.
• Identify sales prospects through research and identification of project opportunities, actively seeking new accounts.
• Expand accounts by reviewing customers' purchase history and recommending related or new items.
• Generate quotations in the system and aid in documentation for product approvals.

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Business or any relevant field
• Min 1 year of experience in Medical Science related industry is required

Position: Technician I, Manufacturing

Salary: $2000 - $2800

Working Location: Pioneer Crescent

Working Hours

Training Period:

Normal Shift - Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm

After Training:

Permanent Night / Day Shift

Day Shift -8am to 8.15pm ($6.50/day)

Night Shift - 8pm to 8.15am ($15.50/day)

JOB SUMMARY

Operation and troubleshooting of production machines to ensure they are operating with the correct parameters and settings. Perform fast and first level troubleshooting for any production abnormalities.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Operation of the machines and process to ensure non-stop operation of the production line. Including regular input of raw materials to the fully automated line.

2.Normal operation and monitoring of the machines to ensure that the output is of the required quality and quantity as well as to perform troubleshooting and repair whenever there is machine down so as to ensure minimum machine downtime is incurred.

3.To perform target change, head calibration and to ensure proper procedure is carried out. For any major trouble, a written report is to be submitted to the supervisor regarding the nature of that trouble.

4.Sample taking, measurement and writing of control charts/ checklists. To perform the conditioning of the machines if the measurement shows irregular trend and out-of specs occur.

5.Carry out 5S and machine cleaning regularly to keep a high level of cleanroom cleanliness. 6.Any other jobs as required by the production supervisor.

Qualification

NTC-2/3 or NITEC in any discipline or equivalent

Experience

Some working experience, not necessary to be in related field.

Skills Required (Must Have)

Possess knowledge in maintenance and repair of machines.

Others

Preferably has clean-room working experience.

• Implementation and updating of the plant’s Food Safety (ISO 22000), Quality (ISO 9001), HACCP, Organic, and Halal Management Systems certified by 3rd party certification bodies.
• Supporting operations (quality control/ troubleshooting) and ensure products released meet all necessary requirements
• Liaise with government agencies / certification bodies on new product registration and certification information
• Ensure compliance to CCP, OPRP and Quality Control Points
• Monitoring and maintenance of correction and corrective action rectification from suppliers, in house inspections and daily routine checks.
• Conduct periodical food safety and hygiene inspections and training where evidence of compliance is lacking

You will need: -

• Minimum 2 years of QA/QC experience and product development in F&B manufacturing
• Minimum req; Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science or equivalent
