As a Technician, Chemical Production you will be

Responsible for routine and non-routine processes in Chemical Production Operations (i.e. PVA, LS1 Saline, DSMF Saline, HDTC and/or PAA) to ensure Manufacturing requirements/ demands are met while ensuring compliance to GMP/ GDP, SOP/ Specifications, HSE and Alcon Corporate policy.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Perform day to day batch preparation in Chemical Production Operations
• Manage and maintain Chemical Production calibration, documentation, inventory (i.e. raw materials and consumables) and preventive maintenance
• Assume full responsibility in maintaining training on the required operational, quality compliance and safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Participate and/or initiate projects that improve safety, quality, process efficiency and/or reduce operating cost
• Know, understand and comply with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) guidelines. Report any unsafe conditions, injuries, illnesses and hazardous material releases Responsible for safe handling of chemicals and proper waste disposal

• Min GCE O Levels with 2 years of experience in chemical production setting
• Comfortable to work at Tuas South (Transport from various MRT stations)

Duties of Application Engineer:

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

· Interact and co-operate with other members of the outlets and kitchen as appropriate.

· Assist chef in ensuring that production level of food required is consistent with outlet needs.

· Prepare products according to standard operating procedures.

· Regulate thermostat control and timing of products being baked.

· Ensure equipment is correctly handled and maintained, and station is kept clean.

· Prepare, measure and mix ingredients for baking.

MAIN QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILL AND ABILITY

• Certificate in food related field
• Minimum 4 years experience in F&B industry
• Attainment of Basic Food Hygiene Course

• Assembly of Robots
• Configuration & testing of devices and sensors used in Robotics applications
• Support on Application Test Program and Hardware Development before release
• Run R&D tests and Factory Acceptance Tests for products
• For relevant components serial numbers registration
• Basic troubleshooting for robots in production floor area
• Documentation on SOPs, test procedure
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements:
