What you will do

The associate manufacturing will be required to work on a rotational overnight shift to support daily production requirements. Operations, maintenance and analytical testing will be performed as required according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Plans. The associate manufacturing will perform and monitor critical processes, execute routine validation protocols, and prepare documents such as Batch Records, SOPs and assist in technical reports. They will perform basic troubleshooting and assist in the review of documentation for assigned functions. The associate manufacturing may participate on cross-functional teams, and may identify, recommend and implement improvements related to routine functions.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for manufacturing synthetic API’s and executing manufacturing duties
• Support daily production requirements throughout the facility
• Ensure that operations, maintenance and analytical testing be performed according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Plans
• Perform and monitor critical processes, execute routine validation protocols, and prepare documents such as Batch Records and SOPs
• Perform basic troubleshooting
• Assist in the review of documentation for assigned functions
• Responsible for identifying, recommending and implementing improvements related to routine functions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering and 2 years of directly related experience OR
• Associate’s Degree in Science or Engineering and 4 years of directly related experience OR
• High School Diploma in Science or Engineering / GED and 6 years of directly related experience
• Possess minimum 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or petrochemical industry. Fresh graduates will be considered.

(A) Key Functions and Responsibilities

1. Identification of daily production planning / target.

2. Execute the allocation of qualified manpower and correct material for daily production at every work station is properly arranged before production starts.

3. Physically check each work station daily set up to ensure they meets the required Standard Operating .Procedure and Set Up Specification with reference to the daily production schedule/manufacturing Instruction.

4. Inspect, check and monitor all facilities and equipment is in good working condition before production starts.

5. Trouble shooting and handling of daily nonconformance events at all work station, and report non-conformance event, segregation and identification of non-conformance items by making use of appropriate traceability records to identify before use and after used non-conforming items.

6. Reporting machineries breakdown event or machines suspected to be in faulty condition for the attention of the Production Supervisor for further corrective action to be taken.

7. Rectification of daily process rejects (screening & rework). Quick disposition of non-conforming items to prevent unintended uses and further deterioration.

8. Ensure the use of all required safety equipment at all work station.

9. Ensure quality check.

10. Compile Daily Production Output Report from all work stations and ensuring all report is done accurately.

11. Train, supervise and monitor new production staff’s performance.

12. Performs other duties as assigned.

(A) Key Functions and Responsibilities

1. Organize, monitor and ensure manufacturing processes operated with minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.

2. Initiates, implements, and manages the processes improvement program based on best practices in the metal drum making industry, with an emphasis on productivity and product quality.

3. Ensure all manufacturing processes are adhering to all Regulatory and Statutory Requirement.

4. Work with HR Department and assure that employee grievances are addressed in a timely fashion.

5. Conducts employee performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution of the maintenance technicians and engineering staff.

6. Maintain and ensure work safety and practices. Also continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes.

8. Evaluate, Train and Maintain individual skills (including work performance) are keeping up to date with best engineering management concepts and practices.

9. Ensure on time submission of overtime record to HR Dept for computation of monthly salary.
