Brief overview of the role
The Business Development Account Manager will manage a group of existing corporate clients headquartered in Asia and is personally responsible for renewing subscription of Euromonitor’s web-based database and growing revenues across this client base.
In addition, the manager will be responsible for increasing use of our products; promote Euromonitor as a global strategic research partner; proactively build on our understanding of client organisation, strategy and priorities; assist with day-today client queries and training. The successful candidate will have an intelligent and organized approach to client-focused activities, essentially focusing on revenue generation activities, and balancing it with client support and assistance.

Job Purpose

ICE Fixed Income and Data Services (IDS), a leading provider of financial market data, has an opening in a team of highly specialized real-time market data specialists who support the real-time feeds and desktop business verticals.

The individuals on this team acquire and maintain a detailed understanding of Exchange and other 3rd party market data “raw” feeds, and the associated market conventions for those sources. This knowledge will then be applied to produce the business requirements documents which will be used by the technology team to write software which consumes and normalizes the market data into IDS’s standard data model.

The individuals on this team are expected to be the “go to” people for all questions regarding the “raw” feed technical specifications, how they are translated into IDS’s standard data model, and the local market conventions which drive those decisions. The individuals will be responsible for both establishing rules for new feeds as well as articulating requirements for changes to existing feeds as they arise. Team members also interact with client facing staff, and sometimes directly interact with clients, in order to determine exact requirements for enhancements and modifications to existing data presentations.

Responsibilities

• Understanding Market Data Conventions - Achieve deep understanding of the market conventions for each relevant data source (market conventions include such things as how instruments are traded, special trading conditions that can occur and how they impact various derived data such as VWAPs, daily highs and lows, etc., trading units, minimum trade sizes, etc). Market Data Conventions must be understood from the perspective of the provider (exchange), the vendor (IDS), and the customer.
• Writing Content Requirements - Review new or modifications to feed specifications provided by the Exchange or 3rd party source, and translate such specifications into detailed and documented business rules for the Development team to implement. Such rules include mapping of incoming fields to the IDS data model, defining appropriate rules/business logic for correctly calculating derived data such as VWAPs, highs/lows, normalizing trade condition codes into the IDS global standard, and defining how fields need to be presented to customers (e.g., ensuring proper scaling of numbers).
• Ownership of Requirements - Ensuring all requirements, both new and changes, are reviewed, acknowledged, and properly handed off to the appropriate technology and business teams as quickly as possible.
• Monitoring for Changes - Monitoring exchange and 3rd party source change notifications, and ensuring that tickets are immediately raised and analyzed for impact to accommodate the change.
• Content QA Support - Working with content QA teams to ensure any new/changed data is appropriately tested to ensure compliance with the business rules defined by this individual in the aforementioned requirements documentation.
• Proactive Improvements – Proactively review of existing market data implementations, followed by sensible suggestions for improvements based on knowledge of local and global market conventions.
• Reporting / Support – Keeping appropriate managers and other groups informed of progress in key areas of market data content changes and improvements. Supporting appropriate client facing personnel in matters of content modeling and quality, with a view towards superior client satisfaction and increased sales.

Knowledge and Experience

Required Basic Qualifications

• Ability to create well written, concise and comprehensive business requirement documents which clearly define how Development should implement support for a new or modified market data feed such that it conforms to the IDC defined data model standards and any and all relevant local market rules and conventions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of ‘raw’ exchange feeds across at least one geography but preferably across multiple geographies. Global knowledge is best in class. Expertise in C&E markets is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading the development and research of an innovative lipsync solution, focusing on audio-video synchronization.
• Innovating and adapting model architecture to effectively integrate advanced audio features, particularly leveraging wav2vec.
• Directing machine learning experiments with a primary focus on developing and refining a discriminator model for determining audio-video sync accuracy.
• Ensuring high accuracy in model predictions.
• Writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code, primarily in Python and utilizing PyTorch.
• Implementing and enhancing multi-process data loading techniques to speed up the model training process.
• Proactively improving the quality and effectiveness of training data, employing innovative approaches for data enhancement.
• Documenting code comprehensively and contributing to technical documentation.
• Participating in architectural reviews to assess and introduce new technologies and methodologies.
• Maintaining efficient memory and CPU usage in software development.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong experience in Python with hands-on expertise in PyTorch. Knowledge of C++ and Golang is beneficial.
• Proficient in modern ML and DL libraries, with a specific focus on audio and video processing.
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Demonstrated experience in designing, building, deploying, operating, scaling, and evolving distributed systems, particularly in AI-driven applications.
• Proven capability to develop scalable services in production environments.

Nice to have:

• Background in C++11, Java, or C#.
• Basic experience in JavaScript.
• Familiarity with advanced neural network architectures like temporal convolutional networks, Seq2Seq, VAE, BERT.
• Experience in building scalable services in production, especially in AI and machine learning domains.

• Work closely and effectively with the Market Development sales team to drive business from defined target markets.

• Develop strong professional interpersonal relationships with new and existing customers to drive incremental visitation to Marina Bay Sands.
• Ensure that excellent customer experience is the focal point of customer touchpoints and interactions, in alignment with all applicable guidelines.

Strategic Planning and Implementation

• Execute and measure the initiatives as planned and set forth by senior management
• Actively participate in collaborative strategic planning processes within the team and with other departments to identify opportunities that will drive optimal growth and both short and long term profitability for Marina Bay Sands.

Background and Skills

Role Summary

Part of the Capital Markets CAO team, this first line risk role within the Capital Markets business will be involved in identifying, measuring, and escalating key risks within the business. The Senior Consultant, Market & Liquidity, will involve working with business unit stakeholders to mitigate the inherent risks by supporting the development of frameworks and enhanced standards.

This role will include engagement with senior leaders within the business and supporting areas, collaboration with second line risk functions, and communication with regulators. Therefore, excellent communication skills and knowledge of the Capital Markets business are essential.

What you will do

• Identify changes to the risk profile of the business and escalate these changes accordingly
• Foster an environment for open dialogue with business unit leaders serving as a trusted advisor on risk related issues
• Provide a forum to review, advise, challenge, and document changes to the Capital Markets product offerings including new products, product enhancements and process changes
• Oversee the ongoing management of the inherent risks identified through risk and control self-assessments
• Support the relationship with the second line risk function
• Support regulatory engagements as required
• Support the alignment of the Capital Markets Risk Management Framework with the evolving Enterprise Risk Management Framework
• Engage with senior management on key initiatives
• Be the initial point of contact on first line risk matters relating to Capital Markets activity in the APAC region

About You

• Prior experience of working within a Capital Markets first line risk team
