Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing & Communications Intern to join our dynamic team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in marketing strategy, content creation, social media management, and communications. You will work closely with our marketing team to support the development and execution of marketing campaigns, brand awareness initiatives, and communication strategies that align with our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Assist in the development of written content for websites, blogs, newsletters, and social media platforms.

• Social Media Management: Help schedule and post on social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.), and monitor engagement metrics.

• Campaign Support: Collaborate on marketing campaigns by researching trends, analyzing data, and helping with creative direction.

• Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences to support marketing efforts.

• Communication Materials: Help design and prepare marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, and promotional emails.

• Brand Consistency: Ensure all marketing and communications materials align with the company’s brand guidelines.

• Event Support: Assist with planning, promoting, and executing virtual or in-person events and webinars.

• Reporting: Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights for optimization.

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Google Suite services (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).

• Experience with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite,Figma) is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Creative thinker with a passion for digital marketing and communications.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-impact keywords and trends.
• Optimize website content, metadata, and structure for search engine rankings.
• Perform technical SEO audits and implement necessary improvements (site speed, mobile optimization, crawl errors).
• Develop and execute link-building strategies to increase domain authority.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush/Ahrefs.
• Stay updated on algorithm changes and best practices to maintain and improve organic rankings.
• Design, build, and manage email marketing campaigns, including automations and workflows.
• Segment email lists to deliver personalized and targeted messaging.
• Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, and call-to-actions to optimize performance.
• Analyze campaign performance metrics and implement strategies to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
• Ensure email designs are mobile-friendly and adhere to email marketing regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
• Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business goals.
• Create, edit, and optimize engaging content for blogs, websites, email campaigns, and social media platforms.
• Research and produce content that resonates with target audiences and drives traffic and engagement.
• Collaborate with designers, writers, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality visuals and written content.
• Repurpose content across various platforms to maximize its reach and effectiveness.
• Monitor content performance and adjust strategies to improve visibility, engagement, and conversions.
• Manage and optimize paid media campaigns on various platforms and social media.
• Track and report on the effectiveness of all digital marketing efforts, providing actionable insights for improvement.
• Assist in developing and executing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with business goals

Requirements:

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in SEO, email marketing, and content marketing.
• Proficiency in marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Klaviyo, SEMrush/Ahrefs, etc.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
• Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling skills.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (preferably Magento) and CMS is a plus.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email design and website optimization is an advantage.
