Roles and Responsibilities:

· Assisting in cargo transport and engineering for any types of cargo on various vessels.

· Providing transport engineering solutions in areas such as heavy lifting, sea-fastening, ship stability and structural analysis.

· Preparing and updating cargo stowage, lifting, sea-fastening and other relevant operational plans

· Providing technical support, advice, and solutions to the commercial and chartering teams in transport cargo projects tenders and enquiries.

· Planning and developing optimal operational and transport engineering solutions, which are safe and cost-effective cargo operations together with the commercial and operations teams, and cargo superintendents

· Coordinating and managing cargo operations and projects.

· Attending technical and operations meetings with clients and various stakeholders.

· Assisting and ensuring all operations, i.e., loading and discharging, are conducted in accordance with the latest plans, relevant policies, procedures, agreements, and legislative requirements.

· Conducting pre-inspection of cargo and attending pre-operations meetings to ensure smooth and safe cargo - loading and discharging – operation.

· Supervising and assisting as Cargo Superintendent (CSI) on board during all loading and discharging operation.

· Monitoring and reporting of daily operations on board.

· Preparing detailed reports on the loading / discharge operations.

· Ensuring that all HSE company standards are maintained all the time by the vessel crew, stevedores, sub-contractor and third party on board during the ship’s port calls.

Qualifications & Technical Skills

· Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, Structural Engineering or equivalent

· Knowledge and experience in Finite Element Analysis and relevant design standards, motion response, calculations such as stability, structural and strength verification, and structural design and drawings for Classification Society approvals.

· Demonstrated knowledge of Class Societies, Ship Classification Rules, and IMO Rules.

· Skills in AutoCAD and FEA software such as Ansys etc, are required.

Professional Skills

· Preferably having more than 5 years of related experience with cargo planning, structural analysis, and project management.

· Preferably having more than 5 years of related experience as Cargo Superintendent (CSI).

· Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, produce solutions and operate with an eye for detail.

· Self-starter and a committed team player with good interpersonal skills and an analytical mind.

· Well-developed communication and team skills with a dedicated approach to meeting customer requirements

· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment.

Job Summary

Responsible for the execution of process design involving preparation of calculations and review of process design drawings in accordance to customer specifications, applicable codes, standards and other generally accepted practices in the design of industrial plants such as petrochemical and oil refineries.

The Roles:

• Lead a process team to carry out process design engineering work in feasibility studies, Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and detail engineering design.
• Act as Key Person to execute tender preparation, actual EPC/EPCm project execution.
• Generate project specifications, design philosophy, PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, operation manuals to comply with clients’ requirement.
• Carry out process simulations and develop heat and material balances.
• Carry out process design for reactors, columns, drums, heat exchangers, tanks and develop respective process datasheets.
• Carry out hydraulic design for pumps, compressors, blowers and develop respective process datasheets.
• Conduct and/or attend P&ID design reviews, HAZOP, IPF, SIL studies, 3D model reviews.
• Check design outputs, datasheets and drawings prepared by Process Engineers to ensure accuracy and completeness to design requirements and concepts.
• Support construction and commissioning activities at site.
• Coordinate with client, Project Team and other engineering departments and vendors.
• Monitor manhours and schedule for Process work and deliverables.
• Perform other functions that may be assigned by Department Manager.

The Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years’ of experience.

Skill Requirements

• Ability to use computer equipment and peripherals to carry out routine computing tasks.
• Good knowledge in PRO/II, HYSYS, HTRI, AUTOCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Possess good communication and technical skills.

He/She will be responsible for conversion of signal processing concepts (theoretical or prototyped in MATLAB or C-Language) into algorithms to be implemented into embedded DSP or ARM processors. He/she will also work together with audio research team members to evaluate, benchmark internally developed cutting edge proprietary speech/hearing algorithms which will be implemented in a range of high-volume audio product lines for customers. He/she will be responsible for understanding DSP hardware structure such as memory management and processor pipeline. He/she will be responsible for DSP software development & validation including requirement analysis for algorithm implementation, support patent applications efforts and support internal or external customer developments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, document and implement DSP audio software modules based on allocated requirements of the DSP architecture
• Develop novel DSP based algorithms for embedded audio systems
• Work with and particpate in research activities together with research team members on the implementation of speech/hearing algorithms
• Collaborate with Sales/Engineering teams in productization, verification, testing and patent application of newly developed algorithms
• Perfom Design and Code reviews with members of the development team
• Perform Defect Analysis and remove defects on developed solutions
• Adhere to software development process defined for the develpment team
• Enhance or update existing software algorithms as required or effective algorithm function improvements

Job Requirements:

Shall provide Data Centre (DC) operations at the Customer’s premises and premises identified by the

Customer. The DC Operations shall cover the following:

1. DC Environment Support; and

2. DC Facilities Management Services.

DC Environment Support

Shall monitor the facilities infrastructure in the DC to ensure that they are within the operating levels

defined by the Customers. The infrastructure to be monitored shall minimally include:

(a) Power infrastructure (such as Uninterrupted Power Supply and power distribution boards);

(b) Cooling Infrastructure (such as computer room air-conditioning units);

(c) Fire detection and suppression systems (such as FM200, water sprinklers, fire extinguishers);

(d) Environment monitoring system (such as humidity and temperature); and

(e) Water leakage detection.

(f) Shall ensure the DC infrastructure is monitored on twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days

a week, inclusive of Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.

(g) The Vendor shall inform the Customer within one (1) hour when problems are detected.

(h) Shall work with the Customer and Customer-appointed Supplier to resolve any infrastructure

issues detected in accordance to the support hours as required by the Customer.

DC Facilities Management Services

(a) Shall ensure, through daily inspection, that the general cleanliness and tidiness of the data centre

are maintained by the Customer-appointed Supplier.

(b) Shall work with Customer-appointed Supplier on site preparation tasks such as network cabling

and electrical wiring, when required.

(c) Shall ensure the network cabling in the data centre and within the racks are neat and tidy.

(d) Shall work with the Customer-appointed Supplier for both scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance,

servicing, repair and upgrading works to the infrastructure at the Customer’s premises and

premises identified by the Customer.

(e) Shall plan and coordinate the maintenance activities. This includes polling the affected parties,

obtaining the Customer’s approval, and sending out messages to inform the affected party.

(f) Shall obtain the Customer’s approval before finalizing the plan for any activity.

(g) Shall provide on-site support during the maintenance activities unless otherwise agreed by the

Customer.

(h) Shall maintain up-to-date documentation of the data centre design layouts.

(i) Shall manage the physical security of the data centre in accordance with the guidelines provided

by the Customer.

(j) Shall monitor the following physical security infrastructure to ensure they are within the

operating levels defined by the Customer:

 Security Alarm and Security Card Access System; and

 Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV).

(k) Shall ensure that only authorised personnel are allowed to access the DCs.

 The Vendor shall ensure that all visitors to DCs are escorted during their activities on-site.

 The Vendor shall ensure that the visitors record their activities in the on-site log.

Requirement – DC Operations

Minimum Requirement:

The Vendor shall ensure, through daily inspection, that the general cleanliness and tidiness of the

data centre are maintained by the Customer-appointed Supplier. The DC Operator shall possess

minimally the following skill sets:

(a) Three (3) years of working experience in Data Centre Engineer Operations experience;

(b) Certified Data Centre Facilities Operations Manager (CDFOM) or equivalent; and

(c) ITIL v4 Foundation Certification or equivalent
