Providing technical input during the project bidding phase including: Specification Reviews, Drawing Reviews, Instrumentation Selection and Procurement / Pricing, Prepare bidding and scope documents in relation to Electrical contractor selection Ø Manage EC&I Subcontractors Ø Mark-up and checking of drawings Ø Liaise between in-house mechanical project engineer and subcontractors Ø Witness Electrical and Instrument panel manufacturing, testing, commissioning work and assist in start-up of systems including: Instrumentation Configuration and Set Up, Troubleshooting of Electrical, Mechanical and Software Issues Ø Preparation of punch list to ensure that the contractor rectifies all items before client final commissioning and client acceptance.

• Providing specialist support for E&I content, estimating capital expenditure and delivery timelines.
• Handling E&I Engineering Projects from basic initial design through to completion and handover within authorised cost and to agreed timescales.
• Designing, implementing, maintaining and improving electrical products and systems.
• Preparing detailed E&I design deliverables e.g., circuit and schematic diagrams, control panel layouts, MCC layouts, cable routes etc.
• Supervising the E&I project installation phase.
• Assisting with plant commissioning and validation.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, review and optimize piping layouts and detailed design to meet engineering and functionality requirement
• Prepare and review piping material specifications for compliance with ASME/Other relevant code requirements
• Coordinate / validate pipe stress analysis (Static and Dynamic Analysis)

• Review / generate piping, support and isometrics drawings
• Review / generate steel structure drawings
• Generate piping/structural material take off list

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering in relevant MEP (mechanical, electrical and piping/plumping) related discipline.
• Several years of job experience in design & engineering of process plants is preferred.
