Financial Management

The Role :

• Deployment Managers are a key cog in the revenue generation engine of LR OneOcean, helping to realise new revenue as quickly as possible. Deployment

• Support with pre-sales activity as required to ensure the sale is optimised for deployment.
• Own each deployment project through all phases of scoping, requirements capture, planning, reporting and successful execution.
• Validate the handover data, ensuring that all details required from Sales are present and correct before the onboarding process starts
• Be the point of contact between LR OneOcean and the end user (ship-based stakeholders) during deployments.

• Confirm with customer that all services are working and that the end user understands the essential basics of managing the subscribed services.

Post deployment

• Monitor the performance of key customer software, ensuring the deployed set up remains in optimal condition and act as a point of escalation for technical representatives of the customer.
• Support customers with the deployment of upgrades.

Knowledge Management

• Be an active member of the Deployment Knowledge Base, regionally and globally, helping to make the deployment process as efficient as possible.

Other

• Support product development activity, to ensure the product is optimised for deployment.
• Conduct CSAT surveys during listening points in the deployment and post deployment journey, to ensure customer satisfaction levels remain high.
• Support new releases with deployment testing.
• Provide cover for holidays for cluster / non-cluster roles.
• Travel within the APAC and overseas may be required and is considered an occasional feature of this role. Requests could be made at short notice.

What you bring

• Responsible for department administrative duties including supporting chat hotline, organizing of tenants and department events and maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents.

Job Requirements

• Possess a Diploma in relevant courses.
• At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word is essential.
• Experience in SAP will be an added advantage.
• You should be meticulous, diligent, a team player, independent and process initiative.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your key responsibilities are to increase sales of existing accounts, establish new sales accounts, promoting Company’s products and services, and effectively meeting the Company’s set annual sales targets.

1. Development of Sales Opportunities via Existing Accounts

• You are responsible to generate new sales by nurturing and developing existing customer accounts.

• You are to seek opportunities to recommend new products and services by evaluating customer applications, current product results, identifying present and future needs.

• You are to develop an effective sales pipeline to facilitate higher visibility of sales leads, allocating sufficient and efficient sales efforts to convert leads to sales, and better forecasting of sales potential.

• You are to nurture existing business relationship to ensure continuous growth and consistently provide professional account management to clients to maximize overall revenue in the long run.

• You are to serve as day-to-day point of contact for customers, promote our Company’s products/solutions, maintain client satisfaction, upsell and cross sell when appropriate.

2. Customer Acquisition Strategy

• You are responsible to source for new sales accounts.

• You are to plan and suss out new channels to generate new leads that results in bringing in new sales accounts.

• You are to cold call by conducting telemarketing, door to door sales, and deploying digital marketing activities as part of your sales efforts to continually develop new sales leads.

3. Market and Competitor Analysis

• You are to research and survey your customer needs and identify competitor presence.

• You are to perform incisive and insightful market research, consistently track and remain sensitive to fluctuations in market demand and supply, pricing and changes in sales strategies.

• You are to track and seek opportunities for new customers.

• You are to develop effective strategies to overcome competition.

4. Pre & Post Sales Activities

• You are to follow up and follow through on sales leads expediently. This includes but not limited to preparing sales proposals/quotations/tender documents, presentations and product/application demonstrations.

• You are to keep track, monitor and review customer back orders and keep your customers updated.

• You are to submit weekly sales activity report to your HOD to account for your time, sales efforts and review your pipeline sales strategy.

• You are to analyse your accounts purchase history, buying trends and behaviour.

• Work with other team members/function groups to meet customers’ expectation of a reliable service.

• You are to conduct application training or product demonstrations to your customers and their employees when required.

• You are to provide the Marketing Dept customer details for marketing purpose.

• You are responsible for collection of accounts receivables from your customer accounts.

5. Corporate Sales & Marketing Strategy

• Align to corporate marketing strategies and work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to execute corporate marketing initiatives and sales campaigns.

• You will participate at trade events or any events that the Company is promoting its products/services. These may be local or overseas and extend into non work day/hours.

• You are to gather and feedback on competitor and customer data for sales and marketing analysis, create awareness of industry/market trends, competitor activities and product competitiveness.

• Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys.

• You are to liaise and attend meetings or networking sessions as and when necessary to aid business and organisational development.

• You are required to put in time and effort to self-learn products/applications and or attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in outdoor or field sales.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.

• A valid driver’s license is a bonus

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
