Position Purpose

RISK ORM APAC mission is to provide RISK and APAC Management with a front-to-back consolidated view on operational risks of APAC activities to contribute to the reduction of operational risk and to better respond to the Regulator’s expectations. The RISK ORM APAC mandate is to challenge and supervise the Operational Risk management of APAC activities. It belongs to the second line of defence at BNP Paribas, as part of the Risk Function (RISK) and is placed under the responsibility of the APAC Chief Risk Officer.

The APAC Data Protection Correspondent (APAC DPC) is positioned within RISK ORM APAC and provides expertise on personal data protection related topics in accordance with the relevant RACI. The APAC DPC must assist the APAC Data Protection Officer (DPO) in supervising the compliance of projects and with legal and regulatory personal data protection requirements throughout the APAC region as well as the Group’s and APAC personal data protection policies. The DPC is to ensure second level controls by providing the required supervision and assistance to the 1st Line of Defence.

Responsibilities:

Direct Responsibilities

To contribute to relevant personal data protection activities realization

•To guarantee required norms and methods definition and application to a company’s good data protection risks apprehension (follow-up of projects, information systems adaptation, declarations conception and maintenance, subcontractors contracts analysis, follow-up on control plans reporting, etc.)

•To guarantee advice and assistance to strategical program ongoing.

To support the implementation of the privacy strategy defined by APAC DPO

•To assist the APAC DPO in the supervision and monitoring of implementation of the Group's Data Protection policies and guidelines, bearing the local regulatory requirements in mind, to ensure consistency

•To assist the DPO on exchanges with the authorities in charge of the protection of personal data under the responsibility of the DPO

•To assist the DPO in the supervision and implementation of Privacy by Design principles throughout the lifecycle of all projects, activities, products, services, processes and systems

•To contribute to role development by validating data protection requirements for new activities, new products, services or specific operations, and to carry a technical assistance

•To receive, process and advise internal and external local solicitations about data protection

•To receive, process and advise requests from data subjects, subcontractors and partners etc.

•To itemise existing processes and identify breaches regarding data protection requirements (APAC local regulation & GDPR requirements)

•To contribute to perform risk assessment on personal data breaches

•To assist the DPO in monitoring documentation, e.g. the RoPA (Register of Processing Activities)

•To contribute to the identification and notification process for data protection violations according to defined procedures and local legal requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with operational teams to understand cost drivers and variances on plant financial performance. Train product line owners in understanding key financial concepts to drive business and operational goals.

The R&D Packaging Engineer will be a part of the newly formed Sustainability Center of Excellence (COE) located in BD Singapore. The Sustainability COE is modeled after the Sustainable Medical Technology Institute (SMTI) and will have the same mandate as the SMTI. In this role, the Packaging Engineer will be responsible for execution of the broader R&D Sustainability strategy at BD. This individual will help integrate sustainability focus into programs for making changes to current products and to new product development programs in all 8 BD businesses. In particular, this individual will support Design for Sustainability efforts within BD’s R&D portfolio. This will require ability on the candidate’s part to work cross-functionally and with different stakeholders across geographies. Some travel may be required.

• To assist the Project Manager in implementing the permit to work system and to stop & report to the project manager any incompatible works relating to the same.
• To act as the secretary of the Project WSH Committee and chair the meeting such that the staff and subcontractors are aware of the site activities and the required actions.
• To assist the Project Manager in complying with the WSH Acts and Regulation.
• To conduct periodic safety inspection to verify level of safety compliance so that the safety standards are constantly improved.
• To ensure site compliance with statutory safety requirements and in-house safety rules and regulations and to report any deviations to the Project Manager for management consideration.
• To recommend to the Project Manager any necessary corrective measures to be taken on safety non-compliance and deviations to enhance the site safety.
• To update site management on any new or changes to current statutory safety requirements and take the necessary actions.
• To investigate any accident/ dangerous occurrence/ incident and recommend corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
• To liaise with officers from MOM/NEA /PUB on matters pertaining to safety, mosquito breeding, ECM etc and take the necessary action for their comments.
• To conduct safety training and organise safety promotional activities.
• To ensure safety documentation is kept current and ready for MOM, NEA or ISO Audit.
• Carry out the works assigned for compliance with requirements of ISO 9000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 45001
• Be involved in the evaluation of risk assessment and plan, manage and review Management Programmes.
• Be involved in all the sub-con safety and health matters pertaining to the site.
• Prepare and submit the site environment control Programme and ensure that the staff and workers are aware and understand the intention.
• Inspect the site to ensure that all facilities and equipment relevant to the maintenance of the environment health are in working condition.
• Assist the authority to investigate outbreaks of infectious, vector-borne disease.
• Organise campaigns, training course to develop and sustain the interest of workers in maintaining good environment health standards.
• To assist the Project Manager in the management of the workers e.g. their courses, reporting sick, home leave, accommodation.
• To assist in achieving the safety standards required by the site’s developer.
• Be involved in safety aspects for planning of activities that are in view of the public or in area that the public uses.

• Salary : $2,500 - $3,300
• Location: Sembawang or Buangkok (fixed location)

Working Hours: 12 hours shift - 4 days a week (weekend & weekdays rotate)

• Day Duty 7.30am to 7.30pm
• Night Duty 7.30pm to 7.30am

Responsibilities:

• Plan and supervise the care of residents
• Develop and implement programmes and activities for the well-being of residents
• Put up monthly interview records for residents
• Ensure proper maintenance of the Home's equipment
• Ensure the cleanliness of the Home premises

Requirements:

• Diploma in psychology , social work , counselling or relevant field
• Willing to work rotating shifts including night shift and weekends
• Training provided
