In-Store VISUAL MERCHANDISER

Job Description

- To implement brand concepts and plan visual display directions for the stores to maximize sales and customer shopping experience

- Present and communicate product range in an attractive manner with relevance to the market

- Conceptualize, design, and prepare advertising templates, in-store marketing materials, in-house magazines, posters, brochures, promotional materials, event displays, websites, company profile etc.

- Coach and train the retail teams to comply with the visual display presentation standards

- Execute A&P activities in-store to optimize sales potential

- Replenishing stock on the shop floor and support the sales staff with store operations

- Offering styling advices and excellent service to the customer

- Interact with the customers to understand customer preference and expectations

- Research and keep up to date with the latest lifestyle, demographics and design trends.
- Assist in conceptualizing of model and product shoots

Job Requirements

- At least a Diploma in Visual Merchandising/Fashion Merchandising/Fashion Design or related field

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Travel to assigned retail outlets (pharmacies, cosmetic stores, supermarket) for merchandising
• Manage the daily visit plan to ensure that all outlets allocated are being serviced
• Ensure stocks at retail outlets are replenished adequately and timely, implement First-In-First-Out inventory management
• Ensure stocks are neatly and prominently displayed on shelf
• Negotiate with outlets for additional display face/prominent facings whenever possible
• Establish good rapport with customers to take in regular sales orders
• Support Company roadshows and exhibition setups
• Meet sales and marketing objectives set by Management

REQUIREMENTS

• 1 to 2 years relevant experience as a merchandiser
• Able to carry and lift skincare products (e.g. 400ml shampoo, 500ml lotion) for shelving display
• Good team player who must also work independently
• Good communication skills to build rapport with outlets
• Able to travel efficiently within assigned area to ensure timely servicing of outlets
