Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Developer with a strong background in Java and Appian Solution Development, coupled with domain expertise in Finance & Accounting.

With a minimum of 6 to a maximum of 9 years of experience, the ideal candidate will contribute to innovative projects, enhancing our financial systems and processes to drive efficiency and accuracy across our global operations.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Analyze and interpret complex financial and accounting processes to design and implement robust Appian solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new applications with existing systems.
• Lead the development and optimization of Java-based components for maximum performance and scalability.
• Employ best practices in software development to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure error-free functionality.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the company. - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in all software solutions.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least 6 years of experience in Java and Appian Solution Development.
• Proven expertise in Finance & Accounting domain is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are necessary.
• Experience in leading projects and guiding team members is preferred.
• A commitment to continuous professional development is expected.

• Perform system performance test and evaluation and customer qualification focusing on vision inspection system.
• Evaluating and establishing vision system performance specifications.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in semiconductor device manufacturing processes, quality control, and optical inspection systems.
• Proficient in C++, C#, or Python.
• Good understanding in Vision/Optical Inspection System and Statistical data analysis.
• Ability to troublshoot electronics/PC hardware system.

What You'll Do

• Work closely with tech (backend, web, mobile), product, design, and customer teams to rapidly develop and ship features to production, through 2-3 week sprints
• Produce well-designed, testable, efficient, and fully functional code
• Build features & API integrations that easily scale to millions of users
• Design database schema that allows read/ write operations at the scale of billions of rows per table
• Design and build RESTful APIs to be used in a front-end web app
• Optimize code & database queries to maintain strict performance constraints

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience working as a backend developer in a product-based tech company
• Experience in any of the modern backend frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, Ruby on Rails, Express, etc
• Experience building robust REST API endpoints and a sound understanding of backend concepts
• Good knowledge of relational database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MYSQL
• A high bar for writing clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-tested code
• Ability to learn and implement new technologies in a fast-paced environment
• Good knowledge of IaaS platforms such as AWS, GCP
• Comfortable conversing in English

Bonus Points

• Prior experience working in a startup, especially a B2C or consumer-facing product with millions of users (or more!)
• Experience in Python-based frameworks such as Django, Flask
• DevOps experience working with AWS / Other cloud platforms
• Exposure to working on event-driven architectures. Familiarity with RMQ / Kafka will be a plus

Job Scope:

• Collaborate with the project team in understanding client requirements and how they translate in application features.
• Guide the team to build with best practices and Pega suggested coding standards.
• Collaborate with the team to set specifications for new / existing applications.
• Perform troubleshooting and debugging of applications when required.
• Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features. Work with business process owners/subject matter experts (SMEs) to assess capabilities and identify high-level user requirements.
• Work with project managers, architects, and SMEs to define metrics and performance goals for the process.
• Participate in transitioning the requirements and use cases.

Job Qualifications:

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 6+ years of Pega hands-on experience.
• Candidate must have Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification.
• Comprehensive understanding of Pega technology, architecture, and best practices.
• Good familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Highly self-driven with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Good knowledge in RDBMS concepts and SQL.
• Experience in Pega Constellation development.
