As an Ops & SRE Engineer, you are responsible for serving the technology community by caring deeply about their needs, frustrations, and overall satisfaction with their Cloud experience. You are passionate about improving the public cloud experience by constantly learning, engaging our customers with a strong desire to help our customers and enhance the cloud platform experience.

Partner with development teams to help reproduce and resolve public cloud platform issues.
Taking ownership of incidents reported and coordinating with L3 and engineering teams for resolution
Constantly learn and use cutting edge cloud technologies
Leverage your extensive customer support experience to provide feedback to the cloud team on how to improve the public cloud platform service.
Drive customer communication during critical events.
Write tutorials, and other technical articles for the developer community.
Responsible for solving customer’s cases with advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions for our customers and thoughtfully work with customers to dive deep into the root cause of an issue.
Apart from working on a broad spectrum of technical issues, the SRE may coach/mentor new hires, develop & present training, partner with development teams on complex issues or, participate in new hiring, write tools/script to help the team, or work with leadership on process improvement and strategic initiatives.
Responding to and investigating system generated security incidents
The role is an SRE role and thus includes rotation in a 24/7 on call roster that supports the cloud delivery platform pipeline

Key Skills and Experience

-1-2+ years Production Operations and SRE experience in supporting enterprise public cloud environments (AWS and Google Cloud)
-Knowledge on CICD tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins, AWS CLI etc.)

-Highly proficient in written and spoken business English

* Provide storage/SAN administration and security management experience in various storage technologies, inclusive of direct attached storage, Storage Area Network, and archival storage

* Supervise backups, optimisation, initiation of recovery procedures and routine troubleshooting

* Respond promptly to incident, investigate & provide temporary &/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.

* Provide Backup administration and manage end to end backup infrastructure including backup job policies including Backup to disk and backup to tape

* Provide supporting documentation, reports and other information to management (e.g. backup and capacity reports)

* Experience and knowledge in supporting SAN environment and storage space management

* Performing upgrades and applying patches or firmware updates

* Experience and knowledge with installing and implementing VMware ESXi server, VMware vCenter, setting up vMotion, HA, DRS, and related VMware products such as VM vRealize Operation Manager (vROps), Update manager and other products for virtualization would be advantages.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3-7 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS or Google Cloud.

• Experience in the financial services industry.

• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and cost management.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.

• Familiarity with asset management regulations in countries where UOB Asset Management operates.

• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER

Responsibilities :

· Civil & Structural Engineering Design and Geotechnical Works

· Liaison with Clients, Architects, fellow Consultants and Government Authorities on Project Execution.

· Writing Engineering Report

Requirements:

· Minimum 3 Years Working Experience in Civil & Structural Engineering Consultancy Office

· Good Knowledge of Steel and Reinforced Concrete Structural Analysis.

· Familiar with Euro Codes Steel and RC Structural Analysis and Design

· With High-Rise Building Design Experience

· Engineers with Geotechnical Design Experience will be an advantage

· Possess Good Communication Skills

· Experience in Managing Construction Projects eg. attending project meetings, liaison with Clients, Architect, fellow consultants and Government Authorities.

· Good Command of Written and Spoken English.

Overview

As a Design Engineer, you will assist the Technical Manager in all the designing, preparation, securing required legal documents for all the drawings (i.e.: shop drawings, structural drawings, architectural drawings and M&E drawings).

Responsibilities

1) Prepare and perform design for precast component according to client demand.

2) Responsible in the design and preparation of shop drawings and secure permits required by the government.

3) Review completed structural drawings, designs and specifications before issue for production.

4) Check and highlight all the discrepancies between Architectural, Structural and M&E drawings.

5) Co-ordinate with relevant parties on technical issues.

6) Plan & carry out production or service under controlled conditions – including product characteristics, work instructions / standard work methods, suitable equipment, Monitoring & Measurement (MM), release, delivery & post-delivery activities.

7) Ensure customer requirement are determined and met, thus enhance customer satisfaction.

8) Communicate to the organization the importance of meeting customer as well as statutory & regulatory requirement.

9) Establish the quality policy and objective.

10) Provide technical support for company operation.

11) Train, brief & supervise work and control process to work instructions / standard work methods and process plans.

12) Ensure planning & integrity of the Quality Management system (QMS).
