The ByteDance Large Model Team is committed to developing the most advanced AI large model technology in the industry, becoming a world-class research team, and contributing to technological and social development. The Large Model Team has a long-term vision and determination in the field of AI, with research directions covering NLP, CV, speech, and other areas. Relying on the abundant data and computing resources of the platform, the team has continued to invest in relevant fields and has launched its own general large model, providing multi-modal capabilities.

The Machine Learning (ML) System sub-team combines system engineering and the art of machine learning to develop and maintain massively distributed ML training and inference system/services around the world, providing high-performance, highly reliable, scalable systems for LLM/AIGC/AGI.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Computer Science, computer engineering or related fields;

- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containers skills, and have more than 1 year of relevant operation and maintenance experience;

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer specializing in platform development to design and optimize enterprise-grade CI/CD systems. You will be responsible for building tools and platforms to streamline code submission, automated testing, building, and deployment for development teams. Job Description:

• Support the handshake between development team (i.e. NPD, New Product Development) and NPI for the assigned portfolio, by making sure that all results, reports and deliverables are reviewed and available.
• Coordinate with engineering and product management departments and develop and implement Manufacturing Plan for products which includes planning, scheduling, and monitoring of material movements through the workflow process to meet build schedules. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

2. Familiar with machine learning algorithms and platforms;

3. Have basic understanding of how GPU and/or ASIC works;

4. Expert in at least one or two programming languages in Linux environment: C/C++, CUDA, Python;

Preferred Qualifications

1. GPU based high performance computing, RDMA high performance network (NCCL, ibverbs); Tensorflow, Jax, PyTorch or other deep learning frameworks;

2. Large scale data processing and parallel computing;

3. Experiences in designing and operating large scale systems in cloud computing or machine learning;
