Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise repair cell; group leaders, technicians and repair specialists, to meet cell targets and goals for quality and on-time delivery.
• Assist manager in production and overtime schedules and procedures, as well as support cell leader on manpower and resources planning.
• Implement management tools to track production activities, material flow and inventory used by the cells to achieve cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Develop & maintain adequate repair process control to achieve consistent quality products.
• Track production and repair yield and quality targets set by management.
• Enhance current repair procedures & improve process robustness & output, through process improvement and standard work.
• Work with the various business functions such as Engineering, Quality, HR, ROCs and Materials to achieve department objectives and company’s goals
• Actively engage and participate in company initiatives such as Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE), Technology & Automation and Lean manufacturing activities
• Support capacity ramp up initiatives through workforce hiring, planned skills training, resource scheduling and development programs.
• Assist the Department Manager in performance reviews on a regular basis in order to facilitate or maintain a high operating efficiency for the repair cells
• Develop potential talent in pipeline and champion employee development to ensure repair team stability and continuity.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Department Manager

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical/Aeronautical/Production Engineering with 3 years of relevant aviation experience
• Experience in aircraft engine workshop practices and maintenance & repair work process will be advantageous.
• Ability to perform basic machining on components using the Lathe, Milling, Jig Bore, EDM and Grinding machines will be advantageous.
• Ability to perform basic bench repair on components will be advantageous.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
• Analytical with strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Highly motivated with a strong drive for success
• Good team player with strong communications and interpersonal skills

Detailed Job Description

• Design, implement, and oversee intricate core and data center network infrastructure to ensure optimal availability, performance, and scalability.
• Manage Cisco ACI environments, including fabric, tenants, application profiles, and endpoint groups, while addressing any administrative or troubleshooting needs.
• Collaborate across teams to align network infrastructure with business objectives and emerging technology trends.
• Develop and uphold network documentation, policies, and procedures to maintain clarity and consistency.
• Supervise the setup, configuration, and upkeep of network hardware and software.
• Proactively identify and address network vulnerabilities to uphold security standards.
• Lead end-to-end network projects, including budget oversight, from conception to execution.
• Enhance efficiency in visualizing, monitoring, and analyzing network operations through automation and improvement initiatives for regular updates on OLAs and KPIs.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior network engineers.
• Keep abreast of new technologies and industry best practices, recommending enhancements accordingly.

Minimum Requirements

• Hold a degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Computer Science.
• Possess a minimum of 6 years of relevant IT experience in network engineering, focusing on data center networking.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Cisco ACI architecture, including hands-on experience in deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Exhibit a strong grasp of networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, and BGP.
• Display an interest in developing IT service management skills.
• Have experience with network security practices and firewall configuration.
• Showcase exceptional problem-solving abilities and thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Candidates with industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CCNP, ITIL, CITPM, PMP, etc.) will receive preference.

Technical Responsibilities

• Review client and industry specifications to identify specific requirements for project execution.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Instrumentation and Control Engineering or equivalent engineering specialisation from an accredited university
• 5+ years professional design engineering in refining, petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical or related industry
• Knowledge in refinery or petrochemical plant standards, experience on brownfield projects and site experience is an advantage
• Familiar with international codes and standards
• Have good understanding of industry standards with a view to development ESHR requirements for Hazardous Area Certification requirements for entire equipment package
• Have some form of experience in Burner Management System and Fuel Gas System
• Have good understanding and able to identify valve, orifice, pressure relief valve, field instrumentation and etc.
• Excellent technical communication (oral and written) skills with proven ability to present technical issues to design teams and project engineering teams
• Self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision, make sound decisions, take independent action, analyse problems, and provide focused solutions to assigned projects
• Possess strong inter-personal and communication skills and be able to work well with people at all levels
• Willing to travel as required
