Reporting to the IT Consultant, we are looking for a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage customer's software, hardware and networks. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.
Job Description:
• Design, develop, and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with regulations.
• Provide technical support and back-up during incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
• Manage all aspects of IT systems, including hardware, software, networks, and end-user equipment to ensure stable operations.
• Provide help desk and technical support to internal and external stakeholders
• Conduct user acceptance tests on new or upgraded equipment and perform scheduled system tests.
• Monitor and manage the security of IT assets, data, network access, and backup systems, and supervise audits to verify security.
• Ensure the availability of application systems to support business operations and measure IT performance across various domains.
• Maintain inventory of internal hardware, software, and other IT supplies.
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding IT processes.
• Recommend and implement improvements for the organization's IT systems.
• Perform 24/7 standby duty for service calls on a rotational basis.
• And any other ad hoc job requirements
Your Profile:
· Minimum NITEC or Diploma holder
· Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
· Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
· Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
· Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role, preferred.
