We are seeking a Data Science Analyst to join the Office of Insights & Analytics. In this role, you will be responsible for extracting, processing, and analysing data, as well as developing and implementing Generative AI solutions to enhance healthcare efficiency and effectiveness. Your primary focus will be on designing solutions that address the organisation’s challenges using data manipulation and Generative AI techniques, along with software development.
In addition to collaborating with stakeholders to define and scope business problems and build data analytics capabilities across clinical services, finance, and operations, you will also conduct feasibility studies and lead translational research projects as required. Furthermore, you will facilitate regular key management meetings and reporting.
Your responsibilities will also include providing input in the assessment of required analytics tools and software to meet the cluster’s transformational needs. You will also support the partnership model with academic institutes and professional bodies to train aspiring data scientists for potential internship positions.
Job Requirements:
- A Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Engineering, or related quantitative disciplines. A PhD would be an added advantage.
- Preferably at least 1 year of hands-on experience in Generative AI solutioning, prompt engineering, machine learning modelling (regression, classification, time-series, deep learning, etc.), and optimisation.
- Experience in designing non-trivial data-related technical solutions and deploying them in an actual user setting.
- Experience in cloud computing and software development methodologies is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Generative AI concepts such as Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), chunking, Large Language Models (LLM), APIs, and application deployment in the cloud.
- Proficient in business analysis skills involving requirement gathering, user management, and vendor management is advantageous for the role.
- Familiarity with machine learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP) frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, spaCy, HuggingFace, etc.
- Knowledgeable in SQL, Hadoop/Spark, Graph Database, and related databases.
