Job Description:

• Responsible for MySQL database administrations and managements (capacity planning, installation, backup, recovery, monitoring, optimizations, troubleshooting, etc).
• Support the development team for MySQL database designing, creating, optimising.
• Review existing software architecture and contribute to improve on the future architecture for MySQL database stability and a maximum of performance.
• Define and develop projects that reduce MySQL database operational costs and automate regular tasks.
• Research and develop new technologies and approaches for building highly available data persistence systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields.
• Familiar with SQL and relational database theory and knowledge.
• Familiar with scripting languages (at least one of Shell/Python/Perl/Ruby etc).
• Familiar with Linux systems, good system troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Experience in system administration or development is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, at critical situations under pressure as well as day-to-day operations.
• Detail oriented, agile, flexible.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities:

1. Manages the warehouse and shipping & receiving functions.
2. Maintains the accuracy of information in the Oracle Process module as well as the accuracy of the physical inventory.
3. Sets the minimum/maximum in the Oracle system, including maximizing the inventory turnovers to prevent expiration of raw materials.
4. Collaborate with key internal functions such as Operations Team, Business Support Team to provide excellence in supply chain visibility, responsiveness, cost effectiveness and on-time-in-full delivery to key stakeholders.
5. Strategically planning and managing logistics, warehouse operations, transportation and customer services
6. Responsible for the overall logistics of the facility including but not limited to inventory control, packaging, shipping and receiving – manage daily activity in these areas and work closely with Senior Logistics Administrator in the warehouse.
7. To assist warehouse activities as and when required when incoming/outgoing shipment volume is high.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 3-5 years experience in a logistic/warehousing role

2. Diploma in related field of study such as Supply Chain or Logistics Management preferred.

3. Oracle System knowledge preferable & Intermediate excel skills preferable.

4. Capable of working independently, self-motivator with and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

5. Computer knowledge Microsoft Power Point, Excel and Words

6. Ability to work irregular hours and under pressure when required.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will be part of a service oriented team representing Grand Copthorne Hotel, that strives for excellence in customer service.

Key responsibilities

· Attend to guests’ inquiries and provide prompt responses and assistance

· Managing rooms’ inventory, allocation and ensuring guest billing is in order to avoid any glitches

· Develop and maintain professional relationship with house guests and extend service whenever required
