• To carry out post trade contract activities and day-to-day execution of either container concluded by the regional and local trading team. This involves planning shipments to payment collection.
• Acknowledgment of nomination to buyer and sending it on to shipper ensuring shipper acceptance of nomination.
• Issuing documentary instructions to shipper for timely preparation of shipping documents and follow up on draft documents for checking.
• Ensure all drafts are checked and confirmed by buyer and passing on to shipper. Follow up on scanned signed documents and original documents.
• Ensuring payments from buyers are made in time before shipments arrives at destination.
• For container shipments - Managing the payment of suppliers, freight invoices and any other costs.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experiences
• Experience in international import/export trade and shipping logistics is essential with experience in container shipments.
• Experience in LC is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Provide and monitor the entire operations through liaising with terminals, refineries, agents, masters and inspectors to ensure all shipments run smoothly.
• Prepare all relevant documentary instructions to various counterparties and all relevant inspection instructions to various inspectors.
• Maintain operational optimization to add value to trading strategy and maximize profits and minimize losses or costs.
• Calculate any laytime and demurrage incurred.
• Check and update the operations data in the system for analysis, decision making and reporting.
• Ensure operational, contractual and credit risk are in compliance with Company and HQ guidelines.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Business/Engineering or equivalent
• At least 1-2 years of relevant working experience
• Possess good planning and organizing skills
• Possess good communication and written skills
• Able to work independently and good team player
