The Investment Operations Manager assists ZICOam’s discretionary fund management team, whereby the company is the appointed Investment Fund Manager, in the day-to-day delivery of operational and support functions relating to investment/portfolio management. The Investment Operations Manager is primarily responsible for:

• Conducting operational due diligence of existing and prospective counterparties (namely administrators, custodians and other service providers);
• Managing relationships with the external counterparties;
• Sustaining and Maintaining the investment platform to achieve accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Assist in the onboarding process of the company’s partners such as brokers, custodians, issuers as well as products/service providers.
• Assist in the onboarding process of investors for Fund Management Services (i.e. discretionary portfolio management) to ensure adherence to AML/CTF guidelines, such as: client due diligence check;
  investment suitability assessment;
• Coordinate with Fund Administrator (and Portfolio Manager) to: ensure a smooth onboarding process of new/potential investors; process the subscription/redemption form.
• Work with Group Legal (and Group Risk & Compliance Unit where applicable) to review agreements to be executed between ZICOam and partners, such as custodian banks, brokers, products and service providers.
• Work closely with the COO for the update of policies and procedures (including SOP) relating to the scheme.

Job Requirements

• A degree in business, economics, finance or a related subject.
• At least 3-5 years of work experience within the industry or related field in investment and financial assets management

Responsibilities

• Book vessels in and out of Singapore port, and arrange for pilot and tug boat services.
• Provide information on crew to the immigration authority.
• Advise Customs of vessels’ arrivals and departures, and reporting of cargoes onboard vessels.
• Ensure that the ship’s documentation complies with international and local regulations prior to Customs inspection.
• Prepare and submit declaration of Pre-Arrival Notification of Security.

• Minimum two (2) years of ship/port agency experience, including experience with ocean-going tankers
• Familiarity with:

1. Singapore Customs import/export procedures for goods, including submission of manifest reconciliation statements;
2. Marinet E-Services, including port clearance, declarations, applications, approvals, permits, licenses and certifications;
3. PSA Portnet Services, including pilotage and towage bookings; and
4. ICA Crew System.

The Studio Operations Intern will be a part of the CNBC Studio technical production team in APAC that outputs daily live TV news programs watched by millions of viewers worldwide. You will be trained and guided by experienced Studio Directors to operate equipment in a studio and control room effectively. Job Description:

You will be an integral part of the Operations team working closely with your colleagues to provide top quality operational support to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Manage pre and post fixture voyage operations of vessels
• Closely monitor and update vessel itineraries and changes thereto
• Ensure compliance to agreed charter party terms and voyage orders
• Verify and provide necessary guidance and confirmations on cargo grades/splits, stowage plans, port/terminal restrictions etc
• Obtain and provide necessary documentation, updates and notices in a timely manner
• Liaise closely with all stakeholders to pre-empt / avoid / resolve / mitigate disputes or issues that might arise
• Send hire/freight/commission invoices and follow up on payments
• Prepare laytime / off-hire calculations and handle demurrage and other claims
• Update shipment records in system and prepare KPI and other reports

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies
• 2 year prior experience in commercial operations and preferably chemical tanker operations
