Established in 2012, there are over 150 colleagues in Singapore’s Centre today including actuaries, software developers, data scientists, financial analysts and accountants. We are expanding rapidly and looking for dedicated individuals who can leverage emerging technologies and collaborate across Aon’s solution lines to help clients and colleagues make better, data-driven decisions today and tomorrow.
What the day will look like
The Product Delivery Owner will liaise between the program leads, business partners, and product engineering members to deliver solutions to meet Aon's stakeholder needs. This includes capturing, managing and tracking timelines; communicating and testing requirements; supervising user acceptance testing processes, documentation, training, and problem-solving; and working on sophisticated projects with multiple collaborators in various geographies. Additionally, you will empowered to find opportunities for process optimization and drive initiatives to enhance efficiencies.
The Product Delivery Owner will also work on administration, coordination, and reporting to support the Growth Analytics team's operational activities, including consolidating information for reporting, roadmap planning, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement technical delivery plans in agreement with program leads
- See opportunities and control risks to the delivery
- Communicate with team members to ensure that everyone is informed about the progress of the delivery
- Supervise progress and make adjustments as needed to keep the delivery on track
- Lead prioritization sessions for initiatives updating, resource planning and prioritisations
- Ensure business and technical requirements are detailed and complete
- Managing development backlog through project management tools via Agile methodologies
- Responsible for Change Management processes
- Maintain processes and role-specific documentation
- Oversee and contribute to user acceptance testing execution
- Provide periodic reporting related to delivery plans
- Lead Compliance activities and ensure that requirements are compliant with Privacy requirements
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to make sure they have the support needed to complete their tasks
- Performs any other duties as assigned reasonably with job function
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Consistent track record in project environment with recognized analysis, planning and activity execution
- Proven experience working on Agile projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Collaborative, team player, organized, goal-oriented, committed and able to solve business problems
- Effective reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Naturally inquisitive with good negotiation and influencing skills
- Maturity to handle and resolve internal business discussions
- Take accountability for results
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification will be advantageous
- Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) will be advantageous
