Responsibilities

• To supervise the project to ensure that the works are constructed in accordance to the project specifications, construction drawings and Building Control Act and Regulations.
• Manage and supervise the RTOs in performing their duties on site so that they can provide satisfactory supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Customer Support

· Be actively involved in the customer support plan for Group and partners OEMs in the Asia Pacific region

· Communicate valued expertise to customers, and act as the interface between the OEMs and Asia-Pacific Airlines on technical issues, complaints or investigation requests to exceed customer satisfaction

· Manage emergency/crisis situations (Aircraft On Ground A.O.G.) in the region

· Manage customer and supplier relations across the region,

· Support the Entry Into Service for new programs

· Supervise fleet upgrade and retrofit campaigns, reviews of Service Information Letters (SIL), implementations of systems or components modifications following Service Bulletins (SB)

· Develop and draft end-user documentations and training materials

· Conduct training sessions for in-house teams as well as external customers

Repair Operations

· Lead repair workshops and customers support operations for SAFRAN Group and partners OEMs in Asia-Pacific

· Support a team of technicians, planners, supply chain officers and sales executives to deliver short Shop Processing Time

· Follow up repair orders to ensure systematic good performance and profitability

· Monitor Key Performance Indicators and report to selected OEMs

· Analyse In-Service Experience for timely feedback to OEMs: Devise reliability reports, analyse Shop Findings, piece parts consumption, productivity, etc…

· Attend Technical Review meetings

· Support existing repair capabilities by solving any issues or discrepancies which may arise, in order to resume activity as soon as possible.

· Trouble shooting of toolings, test benches, fixtures etc...

· Help sourcing for material, suppliers, 3rd parties, alternatives

· Establish calibration requirements

Experience and Qualifications:

Purpose of the job

The Regional Operations Manager:

1. Must ensure Operational integrity for his/her stations in the region by strictly complying with safety and security regulations, following procedures and regulations established in the operational and safety manuals in force.
2. Manages quality standards in the stations in order to ensure customer satisfaction, controls cost at lowest possible level and optimize aircraft (and if applicable: truck) capacity, contributing to customer satisfaction and maximization of load factor.
3. Is the representative of Operations in the Management Team of the market. He/she is responsible for maintaining constant communication, either directly or via Local Operations staff, with Sales and Distribution, Customer Service, Local Authorities and suppliers.

In this capacity, he/she will be required to maintain close communication with both internal stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Customer Service) as well as with external stakeholders (e.g. GHA, authorities, suppliers).

Cargo Handling

• Export and Transit: Guarantee build-up plan instructions for all flights related to his station(s) / his market, based on the final booking list, which will comply with all legal and procedural regulations.

Elements of the above are:

• Loading instructions for special loads like heavy and big shipments.
• Ensuring clear loading and buildup instructions.
• Ensure check on export manifest and manage disruptions (i.e. offloads) when needed.
• Control and enforce adherence to the AFLS processes i.e. Queue treatment & creation; flight planning; reassigment of shipments when applicable.

Import:

• Organize arrival manifest’s review for irregularities prior to flight arrival, problems’ anticipation and instruction of third party on necessary actions to alleviate or minimize consequences.
• Organize future flights’ preview for potential conflicts, especially for cargo planned from another station.

Flight planning:

• Ensure Flightplan creation
• Coordinate and optimize flight capacity vs. cargo demand.
• Organize and control last minute changes to optimize flight capacity.

Trucking:

• Organize and steer local trucking operations in case applicable.

Communication

• Messages with regard to individual shipments, flights and other events must be sent correctly, on time and according to pre-defined procedures to relevant and specified parties.

ULD and Stock Control

• Guarentee available equipment and consumables used for handling.

• Guarantee equipment is monitored by third-party staff, recognize training needs and organize locally

South East Asia

Within this role the Regional OPS Manager will be responsible for the Operational Compliance and Quality of all stations within this market. This is done either via delegated responsibilities to Operations Managers in the stations where the Regional OPS Manager is not located. On the station where the Regional OPS Manager is located (SIN) the direct day to day responsibility of the compliance and quality is under the responsibility of the Regional OPS Manager.

Market Manager is first appraiser, AODs are second appraiser.

The responsibilities and tasks of the position are not limited to the above mentioned and change might occur in concert with direct Manager.

Due to the departure times of the most of the SE Asia flights, it will be required on occasions to work outside normal office hours as part of a predetermined roster or even on ad hoc basis. This will be considered as standard practice for the function for which no compensation is granted.

• Travel to customer site to complete a variety of assignments, including but not limited to, commissioning of new equipment, providing warranty troubleshooting and repair support, training customers on operation and/or maintenance of the products, and execution of paid service work to repair or upgrade a customer’s unit in the field.
• Provides and maintains expert-level technical skill on all equipment. Have a good technical/business understanding of the complete product range of the Company equipment. Supervise, manage, and provide technical assistance in equipment troubleshooting and diagnostic support to applicable parties (subcontractors, customers, etc.)
• Development of Product Services sales opportunities at customer site or during communications. Explore customer requirements to promote parts kits, training, repairs, unit inspections, and equipment refurbishment and maintenance (ProCare). In addition, seek out, identify, and effectively communicate information regarding competitive products and services.
• Attend meetings as Company representative to address technical issues, progress schedules and site related issues within the scope of work.
• Identify and track parts required for installation or warranty, coordinate on site activities, communicate technical support and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Support the Account Manager with new equipment sales opportunities. Work collaboratively with the Sales team to provide useful resources and specific information on competitors’ equipment in supporting the sales effort.
• Provide customers with estimations on repairs, training, or customer care solutions. Understand and manage field installation budget, on assigned projects, while utilizing cost effective measures to manage daily project activities and to resolve outstanding issues.
• Timely and thorough completion of job documentation. This includes, but is not limited to, service order trip reports, product registration forms, equipment checklists, unit defects identification, credit card expense reconciliation, e-mail communications to internal or external customers, and customer feedback surveys.
• Development and documentation of service-related processes, including but not limited to product repair procedures, work aid documents, departmental procedures, and customer communication forms.
• Work collaboratively with the team of Field Service Engineers to share knowledge and resolve problems.
• Provide liaison support of the regional service offices, including communication with engineering, vendors, and/or other field service representatives to resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
• Ability to speak to all levels of management in relation to customer needs.
• Ability to work with manufacturing on how to better processes for equipment as it arrives to customer locations, i.e., quality improvements.
• Participate and contribute to successful Ad Hoc project management, training program development, instructional development and generic problem analysis on an as-required basis.
• Follow all Company policies and procedures including, but not limited to, the travel policy, car rental policy, substance abuse policy, ISO procedures, expense policy, company cell phone and laptop computer utilization.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of technical experience in the GSE industry or similar.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a mechanical field or business education is a plus.
• Possess a valid driver's license.

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):

• Participation in selected technical and management training programs developed within and identified by the company.
• On-the-job training and working/traveling for development of new hire Field Service Engineer.

Travel - To achieve results this person must be willing to travel to customer locations up to 50%-75% of their time, mainly in Asia Pacific, with some other international travel as required.

Supervisor Responsibilities – Position will liaise with and influence multiple internal departments from a technical standpoint on all Company products.

Must have the ability to develop customer relationships and reinforced by strategic visits. This person will be the customer’s advocate within the company in terms of adding value to the relationship.

Responsibilities:

• Support global NPI (New Product Introduction) on product design and development.
• Prepare drawing proposal and tooling design.
• Conduct tooling buy-off and hands-on tooling setup.
• Initiate and conduct the improvement project evaluation.
• Liaise with customer on design requirement and alignment.
• Liaise with factory on capability compliance.
• Responsible on tooling expenses and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure that the correct quantity and meal types are sent to the Food Bank on time and that meals are stored accurately

• Collect, check and hand over meals and catering items to crew and monitor last minute top up of meals
• Conduct quality control checks on completed equipment carts and ensure that equipment are present according to the correct Equipment Loading Plan
• Push meal carts and carry catering equipment in the kitchen and on-board aircraft
• Handle and transport meal orders between the kitchen and the aircraft
