Your new role
A few of your responsibilities would be ;
· Evaluate customer drawings for precision before job commencement.
· Design geometric layouts using Mastercam, with FeatureCam knowledge as a bonus.
· Translate instructions into CAM programs.
· Support vendors with technical issues related to drawings and other aspects.
· Curate optimal performance and design fixtures for machining.
· Investigate machining defects in detail and ensuring adherence to blueprints for successful task completion.
· Prepare setup sheets, measuring sketches, and tool lists prior to program release.
What you'll need to succeed
· Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
· At least 4 years of programming experience and comprehensive understanding of machine tools, metal works, and safety protocols within the Precision Manufacturing industry will be advantageous.
· Proficiency in milling and turning processes.
· Experience with CADCAM, CNC Programming, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
· Strong computer programming abilities, with a solid foundation in algebra, trigonometry, and physics.
· Excellent literacy and communication skills.
