5. Assist in administration of school-based ICT related systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide support to Supervisor/Senior Executive in Gym Tonic and Frailty Management Programme (FMP).

Gym Tonic:

• Implement Gym Tonic therapy programmes.
• Conduct group fitness/wellness programmes for Active Ageing Centres (AACs) if required.

Programme planning and customisation

• Carry out background reading and research to enhance subject knowledge in the areas of focus for Professional Skills in Singapore to ensure programmes stay current and relevant to the target audience.
• Carry out needs analysis with customers and potential customers to recommend programme content that best meets the needs of the target audience.
• Customise existing programme materials, including developing new content, methodology or case studies, to ensure they meet the needs of the target audience.
• Prepare effectively for programme delivery, including administrative tasks, to ensure participants experience a high-quality learning and development event.
• Produce internal/external course reports following the Professional Skills monitoring and evaluation processes to identify strengths and areas for improvement.

Other

• Carry out specific assignments where needed (such as consultancy or project work) to augment the Professional Skills offer.
• Actively engage in professional development and performance management.

Role specific knowledge and experience

Essential

• Certificate-level English Language teaching qualification (e.g. CELTA, ESOL, TEFL, Trinity)
• Relevant work experience, with a proven track record of delivering soft skills and business communication courses to clients from public and/or private sectorsPrior experience of working in a business function, especially in a leadership position (e.g. finance, sales and marketing, operations)
• Developing and/or delivering online and blended training programmes

Desirable

• Relevant Master’s Degree (e.g. MBA)
• Other recognised national training qualification (e.g. ACTA/ACLP)
• Qualification in developing or delivering blended programmes

Additional Information

• Trainers are required to work off-site. Training may take place in the evening and at weekends, although currently most workshops run between 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
• Ministry of Manpower (MOM) approval is required for candidates applying from outside Singapore. Final appointment will be provisional on the approval. Singaporeans and PRs are also encouraged to apply.

International Transfer

• This role is open to all applicants including those who need to relocate to undertake the role. Candidates who do not have a natural right to work in the country will be provided with immigration clearance and visa support. Please note visa approvals are beyond the British Council’s control so any job offer will be subject to securing the required right to work. The WIN Trainer will be responsible to deliver value adding WIN sales training to all new customer facing team members in South Asia Pacific Region (A2), which includes: Account Managers, Engineers and Customer Service employees. This will enable A2 to grow sustainably through by ensuring a well-equipped, highly trained and professional organization

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Effective coordination, ongoing development and delivery of a relevant WIN training and SSS, SAM) Prepare WIN evaluation reports after each session
• Ensure the overall facilitation of WIN trainings (Trade / Application / Product, SSS, SAM)
• Maintain accurate and up to date training materials such as FUSE assets, presentations, demo tools, role play papers with new technology e.g. e-learning
• Continue to reinforce and partner the learning concept of Pre/classroom/Post WIN with 70/20/10
• Monitor and support the Training Centre in ensuring world class facility standards and efficient administration
• Ensure all users of the Training Facilities comply with Health and Safety regulations

Person Specification:

• A bachelor degree or above
• More than 1 year of experience in customer facing functions
