About the role:

The OA role has the responsibility to support vessel day to day operations such as:

Assist the Vessel Operations Superintendent as instructed and ensuring deck plan for project equipment is ready including assisting the VOS with mobilisation and demobilisation activities in an efficient and timely manner. File time sheets of the contractors and maintain documentation of certification / service reports for equipment mobilized.

• Liaising with Vessel Operations Superintendent and subject matter experts to ensure that all mobilisation related documentation such as service reports, Work Instructions, NDT reports, class inspection records, etc are filed.
• Actively involved to maintain the Action Tracker Coordination Meetings and Corrective Action Registers.
• Oversee and maintain the inventory of the parts for a specific project with the support of the back deck supervisor / offshore manager / technical coordinator. Reorder project consumables as necessary timely.
• Under the supervision of the VOS, supervise shore contractors for maintenance, mobs and demob activities and ensures logistics and procurement plans are planned and conducted safely and efficiently in coordination with the central logistics team.
• Assist the VOS for readiness of port call activities such as bunkering, agency selection, logistics of spares and consumables with purchasers, offshore manager / party chief and project manager.
• Prepare basic deck layout using ACAD and liaise with the 3rd party naval arch to obtain equipment sea fastening drawings. Submit the sea fastening drawings and calculations to class as necessary for approvals. Arrange for class surveyor inspections.
• Review equipment Installation structural / piping drawings for mobilisation and demobilisation. Ensure compliance to the inventory required for project specific tools with vessel equipment.
• Working closely with procurement teams to manage vendors, raise purchase requisitions follow up with goods receipts (GRN) and vet service invoices from the vendors for works performed onboard.

You will be responsible for managing and overseeing warehouse operations, including inventory control, order processing, and quality assurance. Responsibilities include handling the picking, packing, and inspection of shipments, along with maintaining an accurate inventory and ordering stock replacements as needed. Additionally, the role requires reporting any damages or discrepancies, ensuring tools and equipment are in good working condition, and arranging repairs or replacements as necessary. The candidate will also implement 5S practices to keep the workspace organized and operate material-handling equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, and hydraulic platforms to facilitate efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

• Must have forklift licence
• Handles and stores merchandise or special products that require some knowledge of shock watch, tilt watch, humidity reading etc.

• Check flight alerts & pre-alerts.
• Coordinate with Network offices & customers.
• Scanning, processing & labeling of shipments.
• Knowledge of MAWB / HAWB & other cargo-related documents.
• Should have handled Outlook – emails.
• Data entries in the system and ensure all shipments are delivered as per SLA.
