We are seeking an Assistant Marine Engineer (Shore-Based) to support the maintenance, repair, and operation of marine systems and equipment. You will assist in coordinating technical services, overseeing compliance with maritime standards, and ensuring vessel readiness from a shore-based perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and supervising maintenance and repair activities for vessels.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with maritime regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct technical inspections and troubleshoot marine systems as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and ship crews for timely parts procurement and service.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation on vessel performance and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or equivalent.
• 5-10 years of experience in marine engineering or a related field (shore-based experience preferred).
• Knowledge of maritime regulations and safety standards (e.g., IMO, SOLAS).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using technical software and tools relevant to marine engineering.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for inspections and project oversight.

- Provide support to operations maintenance staff in their work flow, maintaining, repairing and installation of HVAC units and Refrigeration systems. (Main tasks of the job scope)

- Mechanical general work

- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

- Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

- Saturaday, 8am to 12pm

- Must be able to support OT on weekdays / weekends if needed
