About Us: Tempura Ensei is a fine dining Japanese tempura restaurant opening in March 2025. We offer an authentic Edo-style tempura dining experience, using the freshest seasonal ingredients sourced directly from Japan. Our goal is to provide top-tier service with a warm and welcoming touch, making our guests always feel at home.

Position: Assistant Restaurant Manager

Salary: $4300 per month

Benefits:

• Tips and profit share
• 2 days off per week
• AWS and variable bonus
• Annual leave: 14 days of leave with an annual increment of 1 day, up to a maximum 21 days
• Meal allowance: $10 per day

Job Scope:

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring high standards of service and quality
• Manage and train staff, fostering a collaborative and friendly environment
• Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house teams
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints with a warm, professional approach
• Maintain inventory and budget control
• Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Implement and maintain service standards and procedures
• Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies to attract and retain customers
• Ensure effective communication between all departments
• Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss updates, concerns, and feedback along with other responsibilities to be discussed upon onboarding

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Friendly and approachable demeanor
• Passion for Japanese cuisine and fine dining

Admin Assistant
5 days | Monday – Friday | 9am – 6pm
Basic Salary: $2000 - $2500

Requirement
• Works proficiently with MS Excel and Word
• Knowledge in Work Passes Application is a plus.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for day-to-day office administrative matters.
• Provide support to the team
• Simple translation documents from English Language to Chinese Language.
• Liaise with our vendors, agency etc.
• Maintain high standard of hygiene and cleanliness of the office.
• Write and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documents.
• Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
• Arrange couriers, order stationery, stock up pantry items, open letter box.
• Assist in any other daily administrative duties to ensure smooth running of the office
operations.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as per assigned.
