We are hiring a Collateral & Liquidity Manager for a commodities trading firm. This role supports the high volume of stress testing and planning requests, requiring a highly analytical individual skilled in Python and automation tools. The candidate will collaborate with the quant team to understand and implement models while meeting complex reporting needs. Similar roles exist in middle offices of oil companies, banks, and brokerage firms, though structures may vary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a comprehensive map of collateral posting requirements across clearers, exchange-traded platforms, OTC counterparts, and shareholders, while leading optimal hedging strategies to maximize liquidity and funding efficiency.
• Develop stress test scenarios to assess the impact of margining on liquidity, and manage daily margining flows based on Front Office positions and market price movements, ensuring transparency, statutory reporting, and timely management.
• Oversee the Collateral Management Analyst and manage daily margining arrangements while maintaining strong relationships with collateral owners, banks, and counterparties.
• Design and implement a best-in-class commodity trading collateral framework by optimizing workflows, automating manual tasks, and producing detailed reporting and analytics, including executive presentations and ad hoc support for subsidiaries.
• Collaborate with Treasury teams, Middle Office, and Finance to ensure high performance, alignment with business objectives, data standardization, and coherence across all operation

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors’ degree in Finance with 6 years experience in Collateral & Liquidity
• Strong working experience in treasury functions
• Working Experience in an energy trading firm is a plus
• Proficient in Power BI / Tableau / Alteryx Python / Data Analytics
• Proficient in MS Office applications, ETRM and MTM
• Consistent detail while under pressure
• Dynamic, hardworking, meticulous and good interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
