KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Communication strategy co-development – 30%

· Facilitate markets to develop and implement the local communication strategy to grow visibility, desirability and sales

· Empower markets to develop comprehensive communication plans and creative briefs that align with global strategy.

· Support the markets to build up different communication messages/contents focused on different types of clientele: Local clients, local diasporas, intra-regional tourists

· Develop the regional media strategy, the media agency management and the digital innovation topics

· Build regional “People of influence” pool and connect them with HQ & global-influenced POIs to bring more visibility to SEAO

Event management - 40%

· Brainstorm and implement creative concepts/ideas for regional & market events

· Fully support regional & intra-regional events: ensure 360 support by engaging markets, other regional departments, adaptation & implementation of international guidelines

· Identify and collaborate with potential agencies to ensure excellence in execution of client treatment and events organization

· Fully support new markets (e.g.: Vietnam) for the event organization

Regional Communication (A&P) budget management – 30%

· Be the key contact with central team for the regional Comms budget topic

· Be the connector with markets to consolidate, allocate and fairly distribute Comms budget

· Be the facilitator to understand markets’ needs and share transparent feedback with central team

What will you do?

• Design and execute marketing and promotional campaigns aimed at driving user acquisition, conversion, retention.
• Track, monitor and analyse campaign-related data (views, user growth, conversion, etc.).
• Collaborate with the Data Team to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns, marketing programs, and growth channels.
• Gain a deep understanding of user behaviors and preferences across different regions and markets.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Marketing and Communications team at The Afternaut (AF) and Studio iF by Gwen (iF) is the champion for both companies’ respective missions, visions, voice, and personality. The marcomms team publicises and showcases the work and impact of AF and iF through various channels in order to increase each company’s public footprint, as well as drive business enquiries and leads.

Social media is one of our key channels and we would like to take our social media presence to the next level. We’d like to bring on board someone with a passion for the Power of Social and knows how to use it to communicate effectively and drive business leads.

We are looking for a keen and motivated colleague who works well with others, takes initiative, and is able to think for the benefit of the team. AF creates and designs transformational spaces and experiences, and iF designs homes made for living that are full of possibilities. Social Media Marketing

• Work with the rest of the comms team to propose social media strategy for AF and iF
• Present social media strategies to management team, set goals, report on progress and plans for continuous improvement
• Execution of social media strategy, working together with the rest of the comms team
• Creation of quality short form content (image and video), and meaningful adaptation of long form content (such as long-form videos, blog posts, created by the rest of the team) for social media
• Assist with creation of long-form content
• Managing all of AF and iF’s social media accounts
• AF and iF social media posting, monitoring, measurement and reporting
• Managing social media profile and branding of our Design Principal

Events

External events: generate publicity and raise awareness about AF and iF’s work, brand, impact, and to drive enquiries and leads.

Other Communications team tasks

• Monitoring for mentions of our clients, projects, industry related news, or AF/iF in the press

• Must be able to present a portfolio of work.
