(c)Publications (Print, Electronic and Media)

• Provide editorial support for corporate communication materials.
• Plan, update, and maintain all print/electronic corporate publications and social media platforms to promote the desired corporate image of GEHA and its services regularly.
• Initiate positive media stories to feature GEHA's services and convey its desired corporate image.

(d)Fundraising and Donations Management:

• Strategize, plan, and organize events to meet fundraising targets while promoting GEHA's corporate image.
• Maintain/ and improve donor relationships.

Requirements:

• Recognized Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• Passion for non-profit organizations and the elderly care sector.
• Experience with social media and messaging platforms.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using basic design software like Canva, Vista Create, Photoshop, or Illustrator.

The jobholder supports the organisation in a range of communication activities such as media relations, event staffing, marketing and projects. The jobholder must be comfortable in providing communication consult, lead media relations, and publicity efforts for events.

The jobholder must ensure consistent messaging and communication of MENDAKI’s image and position to internal and external stakeholders. This includes crafting communication materials, pitching human-interest stories and profiles as well as to facilitate media queries.

Lastly, the jobholder must manage interview requests and provide staffing for spokesperson(s) including but not limited to political office holders, members of parliament, MENDAKI leadership team, beneficiaries, volunteers and participants.

Key Responsibility Areas

Media Relations

• Develop and implement communication activities to increase the publicity of MENDAKI's events, programmes and services
• This includes but not limited to develop media angle, key messages/narratives, draft communication materials such as media release and information sheet, as well as to facilitate interviews, and track coverage
• Ensure consistent messaging and communication
• Support the organisation’s media relations with various media partners including government agencies across different media agencies and channels
• Profiling human-interest stories through media pitching
• Work with departments to prepare communication materials such as
  administrative programme, speeches and/or talking points, social media posts, media releases, identify human-interest stories
• Lead media officer to support MENDAKI departments such as School Ready, HR and IT

Communication Projects

• Support editorial collaboration with media partners
• Support publicity efforts for digital projects with government agencies

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Marketing or Mass Communication
• 2 years of relevant experience in public and/or media relations
• Good written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Meticulous with attention to details
• Strong digital marketing communication and social media
• Ability to manage multiple projects within tight timelines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications

Job Purpose:

Promote and sell media products and services offered by the Company. Maintain and expand customer base in a bid to achieve sales targets set by the Company.

Job Duties:

• Experience in F&B and travel industry.
• Generate new business by expanding existing accounts
• Effectively managing existing client relationships to retain revenue
• Use relevant marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics to understand clients’ digital marketing performance and propose solutions to clients
• Obtain new accounts through new leads, cold calls, existing relationships, promotional events, or other sources
• Partner collaboratively with channel partners to understand their business and creatively adopt programs to drive new revenue, and expand business partnerships
• Evaluate and prepare business plans for key accounts.
• Manage accounts through entire sales process; business development, prospecting, and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support
• Deliver an accurate weekly, monthly & quarterly pipeline reports and business forecast
• Work to maximise sales and meet targets in the short and long term

Requirements:

• 4 to 5 years of PR experience including management experience.
• Worked in an agency ideally from lifestyle / consumer sector.
• Understanding of the agency market in SG and rest of SEA region.
• In depth understanding of consumer lifestyle, food, entertainment and hospitality in SG and rest of SEA.
• Singaporean or PR preferred.
