Responsibilities:

• Public Relation Strategy Leadership: Lead Public Relation strategies across multiple platforms to increase brand awareness in the wedding and party fashion industry.
• Media Engagement: Develop and implement media engagement strategies, both organic and paid, that drive results.
• Annual Planning: Conceptualize and create annual plans to meet brand objectives and secure extensive media coverage.
• Campaign Management: Oversee the development and execution of product campaigns, collections, seasonal brand plans, and high-level media strategies to achieve business goals.
• Team Management: Manage the communication team to deliver KPIs such as brand awareness, website traffic, and sales.
• Collaboration with Leadership: Work with the Senior Leadership team to share industry trends and insights.
• Reporting: Produce weekly and monthly reports for senior leadership with actionable takeaways and recommendations for revenue growth.
• Support Across Teams: Support the wider team both in the UK and internationally to deliver against brand goals.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with wider marketing teams, including digital, SEO, social media, and influencer teams, to create and execute social-first ideas, activations, events, and strategies

Additional Information:

• More than 5 year of related experience with Public Relation, Influencer Comms or similar role, fashion retail experience is beneficial.
• A deep understanding of the role that social influencers can play in promoting and driving commercial value for the business.
• Be familiar with current and emerging social media platforms.
• Passion for communications, social media and on-line retail marketing in general.
• An intense interest in fashion and related fields.
• Self-starter with a desire to think outside of the box to bring compelling content partnerships and activation ideas to clients.
• The ability to multitask, prioritize, and operate under pressure.
• Experience or resources in overseas media (Western Country)

Responsibilities

• To be part of the media relations team to pitch interesting story ideas to increase NIE’s profile locally and internationally.
• Prepare campaign reports, metrices and monitor key performing indicators for media engagement.
• Manage media queries.
• Prepare and disseminate media releases.
• Monitor media coverage of the Institute and education-related media mentions.
• Facilitate media interviews.
• To support the alumni team to develop and implement alumni relations strategy for engagement.
• Plan, organize and manage events by the Institute or the University.

Requirements

• A Diploma in Business, Marketing or Communications.
• A natural storyteller with excellent written and communication skills, with a flair for digital design and a passion for social media.
• Creative with a good eye for aesthetics.
• Strong analytical skills and data driven thinking or those with media pitching experience is a plus.
• A dynamic team player who is also a self-motivator.
• Adaptable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills.
• Good research skills and good grasp of English.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• An excellent working knowledge of IT and all applications relating to communications.
• Strong organisational skills.
