Job Scope:

• Source and evaluate suppliers for machine parts and materials locally and globally.
• Continuously identify new suppliers and review existing ones to maintain a pool of qualified options.
• Work with suppliers to order quality products, negotiate terms, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Coordinate on schedules, quality, and specifications.
• Manage project costs and ensure data accuracy.
• Manage inventory and purchase orders.
• Collaborate with teams such as design, engineering, and assembly to ensure cost savings and on-time project delivery.
• Enforce procurement policies and procedures both internally and externally.
• Assist in arranging training sessions with suppliers for designers or engineers when needed.
• Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
• Some technical knowledge of machine components.
• Familiarity with SAP and MS Office.

Position Purpose:

In this role, the applicant will work as part of a regional team. He/she will be responsible for scheduling physical commodity movements of precious metals across a global network. The role requires coordination with trading and sales teams as well as other support functions to ensure efficient transfer of precious metals to our clients. This role will ensure that all daily processes are fully completed and signed off and will also involve daily processing of metal releases and trade checking.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with warehouses and freight forwarders to arrange deliveries to client and receipt from supplier.
• Arranging and preparing payment of invoices.
• To prepare document and arrange stock release into warehouses and other storage facilities.
• To arrange shipment with warehouses for stock to be shipped from one location to another.
• Maintain effective business relationships with Sales, Logistics, Banks and colleagues
• File Management - Maintain accurate files in soft copy for auditing purposes
• Gather documents for Internal and External Auditor
• Perform daily reconciliation for previous day trades
• Adhoc duties as required
• May work on PH-rotation

Our Client is a well-established company in Singapore to serve the semiconductor and electronics industries both local and globally.

Responsibilities:

· Actively source, assess and research potential suppliers for machine components, materials and procurement products from both local and overseas.

· Make on-going efforts to identify new suppliers and review current suppliers to maintain a pool of qualified suppliers.

· Communicate with suppliers and order high-quality products and materials for the business.

· Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating skills to secure best price, payment terms, lead time and ensure on-time delivery.

· Work closely with suppliers on delivery scheduling, quality issues, component specifications and certification requirements.

· Assists to arrange trainings for designers and/or engineers with suppliers when required.

· Manage, maintain and monitor project costings closely to achieve cost savings and ensure the accuracy of the data in the project costings.

· Manage the turnaround time for inventory.

· Handling the Purchase Order Management.

· Work closely with various teams such as designing, engineering, workshop and assembly to ensure on cost-savings measure and on time deliveries for projects.

· Enforce to procurement policies and procedures with the company and externally.

· Ad-hoc administrative duties.

Requirements:

· Diploma or Degree in related discipline.

· Minimum 2 years of working experience in procurement function, preferably in the semiconductor industry.

· Some technical knowledge in machine components is preferred.

· Able to work independently under pressure and tight schedules.

· Knowledge in SAP and MS Office.
