RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Conduct inspections and identify areas in BMC requiring maintenance, repair, or refurbishment (including but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry works) and schedule and coordinate the works accordingly.
2. Monitor the expiry of licenses including but not limited to: Energy Market Authority (EMA) licenses, lift permits, Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) certification, building inspections, and electrical switchboard inspections.

Work closely with Operations Manager on Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes, assist Property Committee in evaluating and awarding contracts, and follow through with contracts awarded (including but not limited to: conducting technical briefs, monitoring sub-contractors to ensure timely and proper execution, Workplace Safety and Health).
4. Maintain equipment loans and their status and maintain schedule for servicing and repairs.
5. Liaise with cleaning contractor, initiate discussions on cleaning schedules and cleaners’ performance, and conduct joint inspections.
6. Keep sufficient supply of washroom products (including but not limited to: toilet rolls, paper towels, tissue boxes, hand soap and sanitisers).
7. Be familiar with locations of electrical distribution boards, plumbing valves and stop valves.
8. Be familiar with the alarm system and CCTV system, and assist in disarming BMC Sanctuary as well as opening rooms for church events.
9. Be familiar with fire alarm panels and work with Fire Safety Manager to comply with SCDF requirements.
10. Periodically inspect BMC premises to eliminate potential breeding spots and liaise with National Environment Agency (NEA) during ground inspections.
11. Monitor and supervise gardening contractor and gardening works.
12. Respond promptly to and report emergency breakdown and calls for assistance.

1. A relevant Polytechnic or Institute of Technical Education (ITE) diploma, or qualifications in building maintenance, with at least three years of proven experience in facility maintenance work.

VIVIFI is looking for a team player to join us as the “bridge” between external parties and the internal teams in resolving operational/support challenges and issues.

Roles and responsibilities

• Responsible for day to day routine tasks and/or activities of the operation team.
• Engage and work closely with our partners/vendors on issue(s). This may include carrying out escalation, follow ups, etc. with partners/vendors to resolve the issue.
• Ad-hoc/On-demand support during non-working hours may be required.
• Monitoring of exception(s) and/or alarm(s) triggered by the system and to work with partners/vendors to remedy the issue(s).
• Take part and contribute to the working group forum to improve operation/support workflow(s).
• Identify and enhance gaps in current operation and/or support processes, and develop scripts to computerise/automate manual workflows.
• Provide assistance and support to the customer service team in resolving customer related issue(s).
• Provide technical and/or troubleshooting support for core system(s) and solution(s).
• Provide support in report generation for the internal/external teams.
• Regularly work with management to assign tasks and small projects.

Requirements

• A degree or diploma in an Engineering or Computer Technology discipline.
• Knowledge in telco-centric matters and mobile networks is a plus.
• Technical knowledge in structured query language (SQL), common scripting language(s) like Bash, PHP, etc. and the use of Application Programming Interface (API).
• Any other software programming competencies will be advantageous.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and Cloud services
• Well versed in office productivity tools such as word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
• Strong analytical, creative with a flair in hands-on complex technical problem solving skills
• Strong problem solving skills and empathy towards issue(s) that customers face.
• Ability in organising and prioritising work activities.
