Postion Overview

The Charity Officer will work closely with the senior leadership at ItsRainingRaincoats (IRR), supporting the day-to-day management of all internal operations and programs. The role involves coordinating with volunteers, managing external stakeholders, and ensuring smooth execution of IRR events and activities. The role also includes handling backend processes, operational matters, and supporting fundraising efforts. This position will report to the Head of Operations and collaborate with senior volunteer leaders to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) set by the board.

Key Responsibilities

1.Staff and Volunteer ManagementSupervise interns to execute long-term and short term programs at IRR ensuring effective workload management.
Assist in identifying future hiring needs and coordinating recruitment efforts for volunteers and interns.
Oversee the recruitment, training, and retention of volunteers for various activities and events.
Manage the volunteer database, track program milestones and other key indicators of progress at IRR.
2.Operational and Backend ManagementHandle day-to-day operational matters for IRR, including responding to stakeholder, donor, and corporate inquiries.
Ensure proper maintenance of IRR’s database, including worker information, media content, brochures, and annual reports.
Maintain accountability for the effective execution of all operational matters, ensuring smooth backend operations.

Key Qualifications
