Description

This team designs, executes and builds tools for online experiments (A/B tests) and offline experiments (human relevance judgement) that help us improve and fine tune our data-driven features. Your primary focus will be to automate the delivery of various datasets by working with Data Scientists on the team to understand critical metrics/KPIs and how they are derived. You will write and maintain the code that ingests, computes and organizes various data sets.

Minimum Qualifications

The Role:

Based in the WSP Singapore office, the Consultant will be delivering ICT & Telecommunications Engineering and Consultancy Services to Clients across multiple sectors such as data center, healthcare facilities, aviation and property commercial buildings. Qualifications:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications (BSci, BEng or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2-year consulting experience and 4-8 years’ industry experience on ICT projects
• Well versed with providing ICT & technology advisory services and technical designs
• Sound understanding of International and Singapore ICT Standards
• Proven ability of writing well-structured and clear design reports
• Proficient in commercial grade building ICT system design and designing IT/OT networks
• Track record of leading medium scale projects and contributing to larger projects
• Familiarity with design and construction platforms and tools (Revit, CAD, Bluebeam, Autodesk360, etc.)
• Comfortable handling competing priorities, prioritising work, and meeting deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication (written/verbal) skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• RCDD or other BICSI credential
• CCNA, CCNP or other similar networking credential

Job Description

• Undertake detailed design in one or more of the following field of expertise: Civil (drainage, sewage), Bridge/Tunnel, Underground Excavation and Tunnelling works
• Execution of projects and liaison with the Client, Client’s Consultants, Contractor, and authorities to provide technical support for design
• Checker to obtain approval of design and drawings
• Analysis on structural components using various engineering software

Requirements

• Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or its equivalent
• Prefer degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore for Associate level
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience
• Good exposure in the analysis and design of geotechnical works, concrete structures, steel structures, civil works, or soil-structure interactions
• Good knowledge of the various engineering design software and analytical tools
• Applicant who has lesser experience will consider for Engineer role

Responsibilities:

• For collaborating with software developers, system operators and other IT staff members to manage code releases, crossing and merging barriers that exist between software development, testing and IT operations.
• The DevOps Engineer shall have experience as a DevOps Engineer in the software platform involved, including experience in setting up and maintaining Continuous Integration/Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
• For avoidance of doubt, the role of a DevOps Engineer is not the traditional application/server administrator.
