This role requires good organizational/coordination skills and management of a small team of process engineers. Direct contact with the client and vendors will be necessary. The principle role of the Lead Process Engineer is to:

• Assist to plan, define, award and manage various Engineering Contractor’s technical deliverables for both basic engineering and detailed design.
• Assist to plan, define and award and manage Package Vendor’s technical deliverables and equipment delivery.
• Manage the closeout of HAZOP actions.
• Ensure compliance with Client basis of design and corporate specifications.
• Prepare, interface with client and maintain a deviation request list with regards to all Client specifications.
• Prepare project-specific discipline-related technical specifications and drawings with regards to all Client, Company and Classification Society requirements.
• Ensure that all contractors and vendors meet the contractual, Classification Society and technical requirements related to process engineering discipline.
• Responsible for providing support towards development and consolidation of multi-discipline engineering registers/lists.
• Assist in interface engineering registers, P&IDs, calculations and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with Safety Studies recommendations and best practices.
• Own, manage and coordinate for all aspects related to the Process Simulation.
• Assist trouble-shooting during construction, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning, through to start-up, and including during operating regime.
• Travel as required, including but not limited to shipyards in SE Asia region, China, Middle East region, other Yinson Offices (Oslo, Malaysia), candidate vessels (onshore/offshore), operational production units (offshore) and onshore support bases.

Key Duties and Responsibities:

• Perform as Technical Authority for Process Discipline Engineering.
• Ensure that costs to Yinson are minimized and that project schedule is maintained.
• Manage the EPC Contractors, Engineering Contractors and Equipment Vendors. Follow-up and monitor Contractor schedule and progress and ensure any deviation is mitigated by corrective action coordinated with YP team.
• Interact with Client as required.
• Identify and ensure execution of the process engineering scope of work in accordance with the legal obligations, contract terms, scope of work, technical requirements and company policy.
• Interact with and support the engineering contractors as required (including Marine Engineering, Topsides Module Engineering, Integration Engineering, etc.) and equipment/package vendors.
• Achieving resolution of multi-discipline equipment problems by coordinating with other discipline engineers and project engineering management team.
• Update job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging methodology improvements; and absorbing new practices from clients and partners.
• Engineering problem solving and troubleshooting, even when not directly in own discipline (taking a holistic approach to the project).
• Coordinate discipline issues between client, contractors, vendors and other relevant parties.
• Provide input to weekly/monthly progress reporting and other relevant status information as needed.
• Participate in audits and review processes as necessary
• Interact with non-technical disciplines as required (document control, cost control, planning).
• Other tasks as requested by the Engineering Manager.
• Attend ICSS FAT, OFE Package FATs, and witness Performance Test as required.
• QHSSE Duties – every employee shall:

o Take care of themselves and others who may be affected by their acts or oversights;

o Not interfere with or misuse anything supplied for their health, safety and welfare;

o Report quality related problems and HSSE hazards or deficits within their area to the QHSSE department;

o Promote and take part in the QHSSE continuous improvement process.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified in a technical subject (Chemical Engineering).
• Good use of Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Proficient in HYSYS simulation.
• Able to write Technical Reports.
• Experience in execution of FPSO projects.
• Experienced in Oil & Gas Process Engineering (15-years).
• Previous Lead Role for engineering contractor.
• Proven experience of reviewing & commenting on deliverables from contractors.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering deliverables from detailed engineering consultant / equipment vendors to ensure to meet client specifications
• Coordination with detailed engineering consultant or design, client, vendors, sub-contractors and third party specialists
• Monitoring, reporting ad driving engineering process
• Conducting and attend P&ID design review, HAZOP (Hazard and operability study), SIL (Safety integrity level) and 3D model reviews.
• Monitor and drive the closing out of punch lists after design review / HAZOP (Hazard and operability study).
• Supporting procurement team on technical issue with vendors, Construction team during construction phase on site checks and commission team during plant or sub system start-up.
• Function assigned by Department managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Chemical engineering or related disciplines
• Experience in Marine/Oil & Gas will be an added advantage
• Knowledge in HYSYS, SmartPlant P&ID
• Able to handle work under tight schedule
• Good sense of Contractual Knowledge

Objectives of the position:

The NPI / Production Process Engineer is required to collaborate with the Program Management Team

and be involved in New Product Introduction activities and the creation of manufacturing Work

Instructions as well as other process documents. The incumbent is also expected to improve the work

processes actively and continuously to achieve high productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

 Early involvement in NPI (New Product Introduction) activities.

 Interpret technical information (documents, drawings, and data) and analyse the manufacturing

process elements.

 Create Bill of Materials structure.

 Create manufacturing Work Instructions and other process documents in collaboration with the

Program Management, Production and Quality Assurance Teams.

 Carry out time studies and update the process cycle times.

 Provide timely technical support to the Production Team pertaining to manufacturing process and

quality issues.

 Engage in DFM and Lean Line Design activities.

 Relentlessly explore, evaluate, and review new tools, equipment, processes, etc.

process risks and make recommendations to mitigate these risks.

Skills & Qualification:

 Minimum Diploma in any Engineering field such as Electrical, Mechanical/Mechatronics,

Manufacturing/Production or industrial Engineering

 Min. 3 years of manufacturing process engineering experience, preferably dealing with wire or cable

harness. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Asst. Engineer position

 Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings

 Basic manufacturing knowledge in cable harness assemblies, plastics and sheet metal preferred

 Experienced in the creation Bill of Materials structures

 Good knowledge on Solid Edge or SolidWorks preferred.

The S&A PMO process governance & automation lead is responsible for leading & overseeing day to day PMO process governance operations, which also include identifying & launching automation improvement to the process workflows to improve productivity and efficiency of ARTC Project Life Cycle Management (PLCM) Process.

Leading a team of 3-4 project coordinators & working across functions, the successful candidate responsibilities are to:

• Act as the main liaison officer to PMO director and S&A senior management as well as responsible for matters related to the organisations" Project Management System, PLCM processes, PMO financial & manpower untilisation
• Generate and analyse monthly financial data for management review
• Provide training and guidance for users using the project management system. Chair "Clinics" to address queries and support PLCM processes.
• Billing and track all project invoices
• Track, generate and analyse project manpower utilisation rate for management reviews.
• Assist PMO director in preparing project/programme data, presentation decks, communication slides and other project or programme related documents.
• Responsible for project or programme audit. leasing with project managers, principal investigator and colleagues from HQ.
• Collate and compile project management dashboards for reporting and management reviews
