IPP, Singapore's oldest and largest Licensed Financial Adviser, is looking to recruit Business Development Managers for a specialist, growing team focused on advising international and expatriate clients.
We are looking for BDMs to proactively source and screen prospective clients, reach out to them via networking events, email campaigns and extensive cold calling, and subsequently arrange meetings between them and our Financial Advisers. Therefore, aside from excellent lead generation techniques, candidates must have superb communication skills and will ideally have demonstrated this in previous work experience.
The role will involve a high degree of telemarketing activity and the successful candidate will ideally have experience in this field as they will be required to make a minimum of 100 telemarketing calls every day, without fail. Only the most driven, tenacious candidates should apply.
The highest level of written and spoken English will be required as not only will you be required to build rapport and demonstrate verbal skills of persuasion, you will also need to reach out to Prospects via email and social media marketing campaigns. To that end, candidates who have demonstrable experience in such online marketing campaigns, particularly those with proficiency in using LinkedIn for this means – and for broader Business Development purposes- are highly sought after.
Our target market segment are generally high level Executives, so any experience in working with this Group would be advantageous. This includes Europeans whose native language is not English, so the ability to speak (and/or write) in European languages other than English would be a positive.
Tertiary qualification highly desirable, with financial and/or marketing disciplines strongly preferred.
Successful candidate can expect a basic salary in the range of $3,750-$5,625 dependent on skills and experience, plus commission on target commission earnings of circa $40k.
