The successful candidate will apply process engineering knowledge to support new product/process introduction and/or commercial protein biologics processes. Scope of work would include:

Data Analysis:

• Compile and analyze process data using tools such as Excel and Minitab.

Process Optimization:

Job Summary

The Injection Molding Process Engineer is a "hands-on" position that plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing equipment and processes to produce high quality injection molded product. The Process Engineer is responsible for coordinating the molding efforts on new program launches, setting up and/or revising manufacturing processes and assisting the manufacturing operations in problem solving and continuous process improvements. While monitoring the effectiveness of processes this individual quantifies results, documents and presents findings to management and prepares reports.
This position also mentors and provides training to other injection molding personnel.

Job Description

1. Oversee molding production operations to meet requirements of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People (SQDCP).
2. Develop a robust Molding process by applying Scientific / Decoupled Molding techniques along with Design of Experiments (DOEs).
3. Implement and evaluate changes to existing processes designed to improve product quality, productivity and overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
4. Develop and maintain process documentation ensuring that processes and procedures are clearly stated and understandable for all employees. use Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other techniques to analyze process data to determine capabilities as well as improvement on OEE
5. Implement technical solutions including statistical methodology in continuous improvement to meet customer cost, quality, and delivery expectations.
6. Demonstrated ability to start-up, operate and shut down process related equipment. Must be able to work independently on new process development as well as troubleshooting current production issues and program robots and peripheral equipment
7. Work with equipment and material vendors to resolve machine and material issues.
8. Monitor and report issues with injection molds, make recommendations for refurbishment based on production factors such as cycles, process capability and tooling history.
9. Interact with customers to resolve issues and provide new project updates.
10. Facilitate and support facility and manufacturing safety, environmental, and ergonomics efforts.
11. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to process technicians, operators and other molding personnel.

Job Description: Semiconductor Process Integration Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly-skilled Process Integration Engineer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and deliver advanced process modules with our partner foundry facilities for optoelectronic integrated circuits (ICs). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in semiconductor process technology and a proven track record of working effectively with external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process Development: You will join an existing team to design and develop semiconductor process flows to for a proprietary CMOS + III-V monolithic integration platform. You will integrate various process modules into a cohesive manufacturing process, optimizing for performance, yield, and reliability.

2. Collaboration with Fab Partners: You will be responsible for management of projects under your purview with one or more fab partners, including aspects such as budgeting, schedule and resource planning. You will work closely with fab partners to develop, optimize, and implement process modules for optoelectronic ICs, ensuring compatibility with fab partner manufacturing protocols. Job Description

• Oversee process design for process plant (Wastewater Treatment Plant, Water Treatment Plant, etc) including process simulation, mass balance, process flow diagram (PFD), P&ID, equipment layout, sizing calculation, control philosophy, process input for instrument/valve list, etc

The PTO Lead Process Engineer leads new product introductions and the transfer of drug products to other facilities of moderate/high complexity independently and is a coach for his/her colleagues on the commercialization and manufacture of all drug products. WHAT YOU WILL DO

MAIN RESPONSBILITIES

• Leads new product introductions to the site by conducting process and equipment comparisons, new raw materials introduction, development studies, clinical supplies manufacturing, cleaning processes development/ validation and training of technicians as required. Identifies and implements strategies for PPQ matrixing, novel technologies and new products etc. Authors PPQ protocols, reports and other associated documentation related to a new product introduction. Expected to have an advanced knowledge of product development, scale-up and technical transfer, key supporting documentation and associated regulatory requirements. • Provides technical expertise related to the product, equipment and manufacturing/cleaning processes in response to deviations/ product complaints/ adverse events to identify point of occurrence, root cause and corrective/ preventative actions. Demonstrates ability to lead and resolve complex technical issues and investigations and resolve with minimal supervision.
• Provides technical expertise for compliance activities such as audit and regulatory support. Acts as primary regulatory representative with business partners and regulatory agencies for moderately complex products/ programs/ issues.
• Manages product portfolio activities and is expected to manage a project team for activities associated with the product portfolio. Qualification:

Position Summary:

Plans, designs and develops hardware, software, semiconductor or telecommunications systems.

Changes to individual responsibilities may occur due to business needs and other related duties may be assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead product development teams. Create budgets and timelines. Assist in the allocation of resources across multiple programs.
• Contribute to development cycles of new consumable products, including design, assembly architecture, process definition, process development, equipment specification and prototyping, materials selections and metrology development.
• Define product-level specifications and requirements and translate them to critical parameter management at physical level in the process.
• Implement model systems to reduce cycle of learning time of process development
• Contribute to product level design, characterization, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy novel materials, assembly processes, and characterization techniques and implement those at a prototype level.
• Define and implement process controls, in-line monitoring, and metrology for QA
• Data analysis of trends in performance tied to fundamental parameters and workflow; provide guidance on continuous improvement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experienced leader preferably with management experience.
• Experienced in the design and development of complex integrated devices (Diagnostic, Microfluidic, Microelectronic, MEMS, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems related to device assembly, micro-fluidics, chemical interactions, and strength/reliability of materials.
• Experience with design of experiment (DOE) methodologies and statistical methods for data analysis (i.e., JMP, Minitab)
• Experience with fabrication of fluidic devices, laser welding, plastic joining, or PSA lamination methods is a plus
• Experience with the Lyophilization of reagents and the subsequent handling is a plus.
• Experience with reagent Fill & Finish processes is a plus
• Experience with process development, statistical process control, improvement, scale-up and transfer to manufacturing is a plus
• Ability to relate basic material, physical characteristics, and fabrication variations to performance
• Strong interdepartmental communication skills required
• Collaborates, builds relationships and influences team members to work toward common goals
• Excellent written and oral communication and experienced presentation skills
• Self-driven team player with attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills, that can work well in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary industrial environment

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• BS, MS, or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Bio-Medical Engineering or related technical field with experience in new product development.
• Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 7 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with demonstrated ability in consumables device development

Responsibilities:

• Be a member of the Process Engineering Team for top quality servers & storage products, maintain and update end to end production process & value stream mapping, cover end to end production process for better efficiencies thru process optimization, layout/work station enhancement as well as smart factory / automation projects
• Cooperate with the NPI PM team, Test Engineers, Quality, Production, Planning, Logistic and other departments to support production, including audit
• Support NPI ramp with propose new equipment, manage equipment readiness to support LVO, Engineering Change and customer requirement
• Ability to perform first level process issue triage and resolve issues locally where possible, analyze and identify process issue and deficiencies with follow up actions for resolution and improvement to meet goal for cost, quality and delivery.
• Escalate any process issue found to have major impact on quality, process and or cycle time if not able to resolve locally

Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering
• 3+ years of relevant work experience is preferred
• Strong IT background, experience with SAP is an advantage
• Technically know-how on Kaizen, 6 Sigma, PFMEA, DOE and/or 8D is a plus
• Experience with server & storage product is an advantage

What a Process Engineer does at HP:

• Support new manufacturing line startup and line reinstatement activities at Manufacturing partner sites.
• Develop, characterize, optimize and control new process and tooling to meet Design for Manufacturing criteria of new HPI cartridge high volume production.
• Involved in process and material innovations and qualifications to achieve cost, productivity, quality, safety and efficiency improvements.
