Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing strategies for process and construction materials across Asian markets, including China and Malaysia.

Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials.

Contract Management: Draft and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to understand material trends, pricing, and availability in China, Malaysia, and other parts of Asia.

Cost Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities to optimize costs without compromising quality or delivery timelines.

Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks related to procurement, such as supply chain disruptions or geopolitical factors in Asian markets.

Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, project management, and finance teams, to align purchasing activities with project timelines and budget requirements.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory and company procurement policies in China, Malaysia, and other Asian countries.

Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

EV-Electric (EVe) Charging Pte Ltd is a subsidiary of the Land Transport Authority of Singapore (LTA), which coordinates the national effort to undertake the electrical infrastructure upgrades and deployment of electric vehicles charging points (EVCPs) primarily in Singapore’s residential carparks.

You will lead the project execution of the electrical infrastructure upgrade (including substations, consumer switch rooms) for power provision to EV chargers.

Overall, the Technical Manager will be responsible for the Charging Operations in the assigned zone(s). The job will include the following:

• Support the end-to-end design development and deployment of EV chargers in public car parks. This also includes developing the tender specifications and requirements.

• Ensure EV charger deployment is carried out in compliance with the contract specifications and agencies’ code of practices and regulations.

• Lead the site visits and manage the testing and commissioning process for the EVCPs. Coordinate with agencies on approval processes.

• To develop and execute plans related to the deployment of EV charging systems

· To ensure the contractor follows set regulations and is empowered to call out deviations. for key decisions and to recommend findings to the project manager.

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in engineering fields.

• Candidates with engineering experience in project management and site supervision as well as strong administrative skills are preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with team members and external stakeholders

• Keen eye for detail

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite software

Sing Hai Marine Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to expand our footprint within the marine engineering industry, focusing on the sale of CJC Filters, 4-stroke engine spare parts, and marine engine services. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and creating strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth across our core business areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities in Singapore, Southeast Asia and beyond.
• Engage and manage relationships with key clients in the maritime and engineering sectors, with a focus on Cummins, Wartsila, Volvo Penta, and MAN engine customers.

[What the role is]

You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for planning, managing and coordinating research and development (R&D) projects as well as technology innovation and exploitation activities and programmes to enhance NEA’s operational effectiveness and build new capabilities to meet Singapore’s environmental challenges. You will also collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to operationalise and commercialise research outcomes from NEA’s various R&D investments. This role will provide opportunities for you to engage, establish strong linkages and form effective partnerships with the academia, industry, and other government ministries and agencies.

2. Able to train skills for both carpenters and rebar workers

3. Min 10 years relevant experience in the related field for this position

5. Coordinate and monitor work progress at site including periodical site inspection and attending meetings during course of construction of project

6. Ensure a consistently high standard of work is produced in accordance with specification and quality standards through regular quality inspections with sub-contractors.

7. To oversee daily operation at site. Direct and supervise day to day operations of sub-contractors ensuring appliance of common operational procedures.

8. To ensure that workers comply with all safety measures required. Require to carry out the effective implementation of work safety programme.

9. Liaise with sub-contractors Manager/Project Manager, Site Manager/Agent, and Contract Surveyor regarding cost control, waste management, variations and confirmation of instructions.
