• Estimating resource requirements and performing capacity planning to support current and future workloads.

• Monitoring AWS usage and optimizing costs by leveraging reserved instances, spot instances, and cost allocation tags.

Requirements:

• Preferably with relevant AWS certification, with actual working and implementation experience in EC2, RDS, EBS, EFS, Cloudwatch
• Experience in enterprise applications, including web servers and app servers (e.g. tomcat, Apache), other backend technologies and tools (e.g. SFTP, SSL certificates), and application development related tools (e.g. GitHub, JIRA, svn)
• Knowledge and competency in enterprise backend server skills, including experience in various variants of linux OS, different scripting languages, backend automation tools
• Good interpersonal skill with the ability to communicate and work effectively across the organisation and with senior management leaders through hands-on collaborative style and approach to working with others
• Ability to adapt quickly, deal with stress, and work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is a must
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to prepare quality documentation and presentations for technical and non-technical audience
• Experience in security related skills (e.g. pen-testing, ISO27001) and intermediate to advanced DevOps skills (CI/CD pipelines tools) will be a huge plus
• Minimum 6 years of experience in DevOps/Systems Administration, with minimum 3 years of experience with AWS

• Assist in the development, construction, testing, and maintenance of SQL databases and data pipelines

Job Description

• Undertake design and study of civil infrastructure work of road work, Sewerage, permanent and temporary traffic, drainage and utilities
• Familiar with the latest authorities’ design codes, specifications and requirements as well as submission procedures
• Able to be the design lead communicating and liaise with client and authorities while managing the team members design deliverable of drawings and reports.
• Able to liaise and coordinates with other design discipline/departments as well as managing sub consultants in preparation of drawing and reports for submission
• Able to communicate with clients and approving agencies for purposes of obtaining design information, presenting design intent and options and expediting approvals
• Able to supervise the team and carry out independent review of submission documents

Requirements

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent) – from a University recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) of Singapore
