Responsibilities: -

Reporting to Technical & Planning Department Manager, this position will provide technical and process safety support for the manufacturing process to ensure production complies strictly with Company’s quality & safety standards and environmental regulations. Supporting the Mechanical maintenance team, you will be responsible for the effective maintenance plant and equipment to achieve high reliability and availability in accordance with statutory, regulatory and safety requirement.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled plant inspection according to maintenance regime as well as ensuring that our gas plant, auxiliaries and common systems are maintained according to SOPs, and in compliance with regulations and requirements and in a safe manner.

• Carry out troubleshooting and corrective action of instrument breakdown or failures to find out the root cause and best solution in order to restore the functionality get back to normal
• Respond to technical queries from operation personnel and provide advice/solution according to best engineering practice to address issues which affect the operation of the power plant

• Lead the execution of shutdown works for instrumentation to ensure completion of shutdown work on time

• Proficient in the codes and standards in the power plant industry i.e. BSI, ISO27001, ANSI, IEC, IEEE, etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a team player and able to work with all levels of management and multinational staff
• Hands-on experience in field instrumentation and sensors of different makes
• Proficient in power plant DCS and HMI systems, specifically experience with ABB Advant DCS, GE Alspa DCS will be an advantage
• Proficient in any power plant PLC control system
