BROAD FUNCTION

To provide support to BME Head in medical equipment planning, technology evaluation, preparation of specification for ITQ/RFP, evaluation and commissioning of new medical equipment; as well as breakdown/preventive maintenance, and de-commissioning of medical equipment.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Scope and Responsibilities

• Lead the protocol generation and review for the assigned areas (i.e. process equipment, facilities, utilities and laboratory equipment)
• Review vendor or construction turnover document
• Review construction walkdowns to assure compliance with design
• Lead or direct execution of full C&Q project lifecycle, including URS, Design Verification, FAT, SAT, DQ, IQ, OQ and PQ etc.
• Trouble shooting equipment with a cross functional team.
• Manage summary report writing wherever required
• Verification of Construction Contractor’s Document deliverables (CTODs) and Vendor Document deliverables (VTODs).
• Support the review and revision of design document, wherever required.
• Liaise with identified stake holders, including suppliers/contractors.
• Provide SME input wherever required.
• Manage the assigned system handover.
• Support the management of project schedule.
• Compliant to quality and safety requirements.
• Complete trainings in a timely manner.
• Support company operation and business as required
• Any other project responsibilities specified in the individual OAN and organizational responsibilities assigned by management

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science/ Bachelor of Engineering or related scientific degree
• At least 7 years of experience in Pharmaceutical industry
• In-depth technical knowledge in the assigned area and associated regulatory requirements, guidelines, and other industry best practices. • Ability to work in a fast paced / dynamic work environment
• A fast learner with “Can-do” attitude
• Good time management skill and great attention to detail.
• Proficient presentation and facilitation skill is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with Process Engineer & Engineering team to establish QC standards.
• Creating documentation for inspection criteria and quality plans.
• Collaborating with QA, Process, and Product teams to address quality issues through corrective action.
• Conducting in-process audits and final quality control audits with the Process team.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Manufacturing/Quality Engineering or equivalents.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in Electronics Manufacturing Industry.
• Responsible for controlling Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA).
• Oversight of quality control for incoming, in-process, and outgoing products.
• Knowledgeable in ISO 9001, 14001, 13485, and 45001, and FDA requirements.
• Understanding IPC requirements in PCB assembly and quality standards for various manufacturing processes such as plastic molding, die casting, extrusion, metal stamping, and machining parts.

Job Description

• Reports Construction Manager
• To assist in site supervision works
• Coordinate internally with inter-department and externally with clients & consultants
• Coordinating for the project planning, documentation and execution of works on site
• Coordination, supervision & monitoring the progress of the project works on site, manpower mobilization, materials planning & ordering
• Coordinate with the contractor, suppliers on all project implementation issues and attend site meetings when required
• Coordinate for all submission
• Produce weekly site progress report and necessary submission
• Attend meetings, conduct site inspection on work progress to ensure quality control in accordance to meet authority requirements.
