Job Objectives

Functionally reports to the Service Build Engineering Lead under Group Infrastructure Platform Services, the Build engineer will be responsible for detail design, build, post provision support and continuously optimize and automate the end-to-end build and provisioning process in accordance to the bank standard.

This role will support and collaborate with Design, planning, solution architect, application and Development teams on infra build requirements, standards and the use, optimization and troubleshooting of all features in VMware, Linux, Windows & its tools.

This role will participate in technical discussions to share ideas and provide feedback in continuing the improvement of the Service Build Engineering team in areas such as Optimization, automation, cost savings, technology adoption & operational efficiency.

Key skill

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows Administration

- Must Have:

o Intensive experience in supporting RHEL for JBOSS/WebSphere/WebLogic, Oracle DB is a must

o Intensive experience in supporting RHEL in DMZ is a must

- Professional understanding of networking related to RHEL and Windows

- Professional understanding of SAN Storage related to RHEL and Windows

- Good understanding of large Data Center Facilities operation

- Hands-On experience supporting various Infrastructure agents like NetBackup, BMC Patrol

- (Mid-Level) vSphere 5.x and 6.x

- Cross-team collaboration with storage, network, security and application delivery

- Technical leadership quality to handle technical challenge and sensitive situations

- Integrate the server automation process either by custom scripts or via third-party solutions(Chef)

- Candidate should have the drive and intellectual horsepower to resolve user issues and support them through telephone, email, or via chat services as applicable

Job Description

Security Incident Management

• Investigate security incidents and conduct threat-hunting activities using SIEM/SOAR tools (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel).
• Maintain hands-on experience with security monitoring tools.

Audit and Governance

• Participate in internal and external IT audits, and maintain incident response plans and IT policies.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security awareness training, including phishing campaigns.
• Design and review IT/cybersecurity architectures.
• Collaborate with external entities (e.g., CSA, MPA) on the latest cyber threats and trends.
• Support vessel IT security setup, audits, and remediation.

Project Security Oversight

• Manage and lead security-related projects and provide security advisory for all projects.
• Participate in RFP and RFQ processes.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related fields, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Deep knowledge of IT Security, Cloud Security, and industry standards (NIST, ISO 27000, IMO).
• Advanced skills in Azure Cloud Security, including experience with Azure Security Center, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Azure Policy.

Technical Expertise

• Broad IT Security Management experience across areas like network, server, application, endpoint, and access security.
• Proficiency in managing network security devices (NextGen Firewalls, IDS/IPS, UTM, NAC, AV), Windows, Linux, and networking services.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure cloud computing, especially in security architecture and DevOps integration.

Certifications

• Preferred: CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional), Azure Security Engineer Associate.
• Additional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, and ideally two or more of SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500, MS-500, SC-100.

Preferred Knowledge

• General experience of other discipline criteria associated with water and/or wastewater treatment including civil, process, EICA and project management in other discipline criteria associated with water and/or wastewater treatment, including civil, process, EICA and project management, will be an advantage.
• General understanding of client regulatory environments.
• Budget management experience will be an advantage.
• Ability to rationalize designs and produce economic plant layouts.
