As the Student Administrator, you will work closely with the Head of Administration to achieve the department goals. Job Description

• Support the Academic Manager in the daily operations of the Academic Department, including following up on student academic matters, as well as preparation and organisation of official meetings minutes.
• Plan teaching schedules and academic resources for academic programmes
• Plan and administer assessments and examinations, including liaison with external examiners and facilitation of appeals and moderation processes
• Manage the filing, storage and security of academic documents
• Liaise with other agencies, organisations and groups for academic matters
• Assist the Academic Manager in the administering and analysis of surveys including the writing of academic reports with the data collected
• Able to investigate and resolve feedback/complaints efficiently and tactfully
• Assist with any ad-hoc academic operations

Key Responsibilities:

1. Linux System Administration:Create, modify, and execute shell scripts to automate system tasks.
   Manage and configure Ansible playbooks for automation and configuration management.
   Administer and optimize Apache and Nginx web servers.

   Troubleshoot and resolve Linux OS-related issues.

   Manage Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) for patch management.
   Configure and maintain Internet Information Services (IIS) web servers.
   Perform permission management and system hardening.

3. General Responsibilities:Independently troubleshoot common operating system-related issues.
   Ensure systems are secure, optimized, and compliant with industry standards.
   Collaborate with other IT team members to support and enhance the overall IT infrastructure.
   Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
   Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve system performance and security.
   

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in system administration, with a strong focus on both Linux and Windows environments.
• Proficiency in shell scripting and PowerShell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Apache, Nginx, AD, GPOs, WSUS, and IIS.
• Strong understanding of system hardening practices and patch management.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Relevant certifications such as RHCSA/RHCE, MCSE, or equivalent.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Manage suppliers to ensure their support for timely delivery
• Negotiate pricing and update the system on the pricing
• Seek alternate sources for raw materials as well as office purchases
• Collaborate with Planning team to avoid any disruptions to Production or overstock situation
• Negotiate for reliable and effective freight cost

The Office Administrator will provide day-to-day support for Admin, IT and HR.

RESPONSIBILITIES: -

• Screening of incoming phone calls, assisting in communicating with internal and external stakeholders, reception duties.
