Deliver technical support to users
Investigate and ensure support systems in a business run smoothly.
Provision new servers for ICT systems and websites.
Perform back-ups and manage virus control protection.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system issues when they arise.
Document any changes and new processes.
Experience and skills requirements
Technical experience
General understanding of Network
7 to 10 years on Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) management
5 to 8 years of File Server. DHCP, DNS management
Ability to follow process such as ITSM (CI management. Change management, Incident management, etc)
Ability to create/modify script using Python Preference for computer-related majors
Certification
Relevant degree or diploma in Information systems or information technology.
Added advantage with the following:
2 to 5 years of Architecting in Public/Private Cloud
5 to 8 years of AWS/Azure environment management
1 to 2 years on managing Public Cloud (AWS/Azure)
2 to 5 years of Public Cloud migration Critical thinking and problem Solving
Famillarity with SQL and database operations
Great analytical skills
Strong troubleshooting skills
Good communication and interpersonal skils
Excellent time management skills
Ability to prioritise workloads and meet critical deadlines
Ability to work on-call or weekends as necessary
