The Bloomberg Network Operations team oversees and supports one of the largest private networks in the world. As part of this team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, support, and development of our Network, spanning over 100 node sites and connecting clients globally to over 1,500 exchanges, which is integral to the success of the company. You will ensure our customers have 24/7 access to the Network in order for them to run their business successfully. We’ll trust you to:

• Provide support and maintenance of our global network using various proprietary & third-party platforms, from a variety of vendors including Juniper, Cisco, and Linux (Red Hat) so our clients have access to our network at all times
• Provide day-to-day support of Bloomberg’s market data infrastructure across the Asia Pacific region in collaboration with other internal teams such as Technical Support, Network Infrastructure Engineering, Network Reliability Software Engineering, and Telecommunications
• Resolve connectivity issues to our most critical customers, financial markets and stock exchanges

You’ll need to have:

As a successful applicant, you will have at least 3 years of experience in web development. Backend technology such as Python or Java is required for this role. Proven track record in

Frontend development such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Exposure to prominent web development frameworks and Python libraries such as Streamlit, Flask/Django, and Dash (plotly) will be highly preferred.

• Responsible for Equipment Uptime, Productivity and CIP.
• Work in a cleanroom environment for long hours.
• In-charge of PM planning, Equipment Maintenance, and Parts Management.
• Co-work with Engineer to resolve equipment/line issues.
• To improve and enhance machine performance and upgrade machine capability.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma/Higher Nitec/Nitec in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical), or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing environment.
• Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Ability to communicate in Chinese is a plus due to Chinese speaking environment.

• Responsible for hardware and software installation and maintenance.
• Assist in Microsoft Dynamic Navision ERP system and make Jet Reports.
• Develop and execute new EDI solutions and applications.
• Create and maintain EDI integration using XML.

Requirements:

• Diploma in IT or equivalent
• At least 3 years of hardware and software installation and maintenance experience and Navision Application support in Manufacturing function.
• Good knowledge of web development.
